This is sh...I....t f...u...c...k...I...n...g company... ### 1/5 — Was okay but... *2020-01-31, version 30.1.3* Used the app for a couple of years without incident (with the app - not the company) until I had to change my email account. No access to old email as it was a previous employer email address and do not remember the old password so there is no way to reset it. Tried to re-register but failed as my phone number already exists. As I’ll it not be changing my number anytime soon this app is useless to me. Using Direct Taxis and Arrivals Star app instead. Never showed up then cancelled my request with no explanation. Tried again with the same result. Either a broken app or they aren’t able to service requests. Poor experience ### 1/5 — Pick and choose their fares *2018-06-09, version 30.1.3* Booked Abba for a return trip to a friend’s birthday party on a Saturday night calling in the morning to reserve. Outward trip was 20 minutes late as they struggled to find the address (despite having it in their system from previous bookings). We called one hour prior to 12PM to confirm our return trip and was assured it was on its way. However it never arrived. After 25 minutes of waiting we called to see where it was to be told they were having a busy night and would fit us in when they could. We were a regular customer but no longer. ### 1/5 — Crap *2018-05-19, version 30.1.2* Waste of time, app don't work, constantly engaged! Give this shi*e company as much as they give!!.... NOTHING!!! After half an hour of constant cannot complete booking messages, you will close the app and phone the company instead. It also stands as a good reflection of the company that believes half an hour means sometime this year. ### 1/5 — Terrible app, terrible company *2017-07-10, version 30.0.6* Booked a week in advance via the app, no price quoted so had to call up anyway (which normally takes 9 or 10 goes to get through). Booking confirmed over the phone but never showed up. Called what felt like a hundred times and finally got cars despatched 30 mins late. Even the taxi driver said ABBA cars is an absolute shambles. Will never ever use again. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2025-09-30, version 45.2515.0* The state of this taxi service is horrendous. If you live in a place with a lot of winding roads then chances are your taxi driver will get lost. If you try to call up the main office, none of them speak understandable English and will hang up on you like they couldn’t care less. Drivers cancel trips for no reason because it suits them. Rely on a better taxi company because this one’s a disgrace. ### 1/5 — Don’t use this app *2025-07-05, version 42.2507.19* When u order a taxi I promise it won’t show up and if it does it’s 20 minuites late cars stink ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work. Staff are incredibly rude *2024-11-30, version 40.2409.1* Booked a journey on the app. Couldn’t view it but it took my payment. Uninstalled and reinstalled but it keeps stalling and going round in circles. Called the office. The woman told me she had other customers to deal with and couldn’t help me for more than a few seconds. Then when I asked if they were more important than me, she said “didn’t say that”. Then not long later put me on hold for ten mins obviously hoping I’d give up eventually. So I have no idea if my booking is going to happen or not 🤷🏻‍♀️ ABBA are a monopoly in Warrington so they tend to just to do what they hell they want as long as the moneys rolling in. ### 1/5 — Useless App *2024-03-05, version 40.2212.28* … ### 1/5 — i am confused…? *2023-01-02, version 40.2212.28* I AM NOT HAPPY. i try and make an account on this app and straight away was blacklisted. how does one get blacklisted. why. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2022-06-18, version 40.2205.14* Used Abba before and rated good - now I have to award 1 star because the taxi did not turn up on time. I rang them up and they said they are having a delay - upon tracking the designated driver, it said 20min away! They are NEVER on time and constantly lie to you when chasing updates with a classic ‘it will be with you in 10-15 minutes’. Operators have no idea what they are doing and I’m sure the bulk of their hour long training session is learning how to palm you off. This company is only in business due to lack of competition in the area and I feel incredibly sorry for the drivers who have to deal with the brunt of complaints. ### 1/5 — Useless company *2021-10-03, version 30.1.3* After waiting for a taxi for 40 minutes the company cancelled it without any notice after it stated the app it was on its way. My partner rang ABBA up and explained that the taxi never turned up and the woman said that the taxi was a Toyota and had already arrived and gone, this was not true as we stood waiting in the car park and the only car that turned up was a bmw and was not a taxi. The customer service is a joke and are just rude. I honestly think because it wasn’t a big job (£5 or something) they didn’t care as it was a Saturday night. If I could I would give ABBA no stars but I have to give them one. Disgusting customer service. Make you feel like you are a burden for booking. Can’t guarantee times. Management won’t answer the phone. Debbie is the only member of staff worth having there - really tried her best with the backwards system. We wanted to say thank you to him again. His kindness meant more to us than I can say. It's nice to know that there are still such considerate and sympathetic people in the world. I don't know the driver's name, but will always remember his kindness on what was for us, a terrible day up to that point. ### 5/5 — Very reliable *2019-12-05, version 30.1.3* I’ve used this app at least a dozen times and always found it to be reliable, with speedy pick up and good drivers. Living in a village it’s hard to get Uber drivers to come and collect but ABBA have never let me down. It’s easy to leave a 1* review when something goes wrong once, so this is to give some balance on behalf of the silent majority! The app is easy to use and was no problem at all. My taxi showed up a few mins early and waited patiently for me. I got to my destination on time. No issues at all. I like the helpful app notifications too.
