We can get it on Hulu, but it’s not fair for those of us who have disabilities to go searching for the same show that’s being shown on WABC regularly. The SAP is available, so why is it not accessible on the reruns? Missing words ### 2/5 — Double Audio Feed and Playback Issues *2026-01-13, version 8.78.1* As of these last few months ever since the loop and autoplay of livestream and the coincidence of the new iOS 26 updates, the app has been plagued with this double audio autoplay bug. This especially is an issue when I try to watch video clips from the Eyewitness News stories of the day. For example, If want to see the latest AccuWeather forecast video; the forecast video would start, but as it is playing, suddenly the live video stream's audio would overlay and play over the present AccuWeather video i'm watching making the app not useable. Sometimes the audio of several videos playback at once. This is very disruptive and there seems to be obvious way to fix to stop the autoplay of the audio from the multiple videos. I believe this an autoplay bug, if possible is there a way to disable that? Otherwise the app is fantastic, the other cities seem to be unaffected, KABC's app does not have this issue. Seems to be with WABC only. ### 3/5 — Livestream Playback error back again following update *2025-12-31, version 8.78.1* Been a long time user of this app and other abc city news apps, especially when frequently traveling. Long time ago all the local news apps would not play the live video but an update fixed the issue. Recently the apps, including this one, LA and other cities were all updated and the playback error has returned. There is also the following number -1002 in the lower left of the window. Not sure if this number means anything. On Demand videos do still work. Hope another update will fix this error and get all the apps back to their great functioning so watchers can watch local live newscasts, especially during emergencies when family members now living away are involved. The stories are not proofread. Additionally, the stories aren’t updated very frequently. For example, it still had a story of where to see 4th of July fireworks on July 22. Annoying .When it comes to Lee Goldberg with the weather why must he say soaking 3 to 4 times on every rainy forecast . I never heard of someone repeat a word like that doesn’t he get told to knock it off. ABC7 NY is a trash “news” organization. Once regarded as a great icon of the industry, you are worth nothing more than comic book fodder. No class outfit. Eyewitnesses give details about height weight exact color of clothing and clothing types and see them at close range but you won’t put in the report if it’s a white , black Asian or Hispanic or other in the broadcast.
