## What is ABC Blaise Academy?

ABC Blaise Academy is the first in a series of educational apps. This first game helps young learners of the French language (whether native French speakers, bilingual or not) develop their reading and writing skills in French. It promotes phoneme awareness in French as it teaches players how the letters in words are systematically represented by sounds. It also helps prepare children to decompose words into alphabetic letters and their corresponding sounds in order to develop reading skills.
