### 4/5 — Beneficial

*2012-10-22, version 1.2*

Great ap! We especially love the tracing pad.

Double check the spelling and make sure the L and the word matches the picture.

My 3 year old is really enjoying this. Thank you!

### 4/5 — Great teaching tool.. But

*2012-10-10, version 1.2*

Your app is great for teaching my kid ABC, with the pictures, sound and interactive screen.
The only draw back I find is that the background music is too loud so one cannot hear the pronunciation of the letters.
But over all it is one of the best ABC app on the Internet.

### 4/5 — *elephAnt

*2012-10-06, version 1.2*

Oops -better use spell checker next time. Otw -great app.

### 4/5 — Practical but not pretty

*2012-09-09, version 1.2*

The writing pad is fantastic. Upgrades allow the writing pad to go full screen. The voices are also well done, and you van now record your own voice! Love it. I gave it an extra star for these updates.
However, graphics remain crap. Background image is ugly and the images that go along with the letters (apple, ball, elephant, etc.) are poorly done. Mixed real and cartoon images. Cheesy movements.
But overall, it's a good app with a lot of potential.

### 5/5 — 5 Stars!

*2011-12-25, version 1.1*

I love ' ABC Interactive Flash Cards', very educational and fun with it. Keeps my small daughter engaged due to the interactive nature of the app. 5 Stars

### 5/5 — Pretty cool

*2011-12-24, version 1.1*

I must say the writing feature is pretty cool, not seen this before in other flash card apps. Also 'ABC Interactive Flash Cards' has a lot more, well interactive I suppose. Anyway, a really good flash card app, highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Top Marks!

*2011-12-23, version 1.1*

This is a lot more interactive than some of the other 'Flash Card', apps, I love the tracing pad feature which works really well on the iPad. Overall top marks from me.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2017-03-03, version 4.0*

An ad pops up every other letter. My daughter can't navigate from that every single time. Not kid friendly

### 1/5 — Not good

*2013-08-16, version 2.0*

Can't trace

### 1/5 — Dumb button placement

*2013-05-29, version 2.0*

For a toddlers app all the dev wants is for the kid to constant click on rate the app. So what's the fun or educational about constantly being kicked out of the app to go rate something they have no clue how to do.

### 1/5 — Wast of money

*2013-03-29, version 2.0*

No way to grade or review any of the letters writing or progress

### 2/5 — Not enough for $1

*2013-02-16, version 2.0*

I bought this app thinking it would help my 3 yr old and there isn't much to it.

### 3/5 — Good App.

*2013-05-27*

Good app. Simple interface with light background music. The male voice that describes the letters and objects is soft and gentle. I love the fact that none of the pictures are "Icon" related, but just simple everyday items.
The app does say that the letters can come up in random order, but I cannot figure out how to do this. I can't seem to find it in the settings. It would be nice if this feature worked (or was easier to find).
Other than that, it is a very good and simple app for the kids.

### 3/5 — Has real potential, but currently flawed...

*2012-10-04*

Looking good, and the obligatory American accent is not TOO extreme, but:
- elephant ('E') has a spelling mistake
- the alleged lake for 'L' is pictured as a lion
- forgive me if I'm making gender assumptions but the supposed king ('K') appears to be a woman
- you need to keep the target words non-capitalised, I think
- the 'a' is the stylised 'a' rather than the simpler "round" 'a' which can confuse the young'uns
- an option for British English (note the way that English the language and English the race are rather similar words) would be nice
Good luck! :)

### 4/5 — Love it!!

*2013-11-30, version 2.0*

Love it perfect for teaching a toddler their Abc's

### 4/5 — Like it

*2013-09-27, version 2.0*

Im a Speech Therapist & My children at home and at school love it as do I. I love the writing portion, but maybe a tracing option would be good to help children initially with an option to remove it as writing ability progresses. A another level could have an upper & lower case option all with tracing for extra practice. Maybe words as a third level. Lots of options for SLPs & OTs.

### 4/5 — Good alpha app

*2013-06-06, version 2.0*

This is a good alphabet app that includes a picture of an item starting with the letter, the upper and lower case of the letters, and a space to write the letter with a fingertip or stylus. It is simple but straightforward. something I would like is for the "next" letter to be more visible. I had to initially do some searching to figure out how to turn the page. A good preschool and early schooling app.

### 5/5 — Amazing Tool For Kids!

*2013-05-15, version 2.0*

This app is great! I found out about it from an educator friend of mine, they said their students had fun with this app, so I decided to give it a go and see if it really was worth the time. It has a neat trace pad where they can draw what they see and I think it will really help any child learning their alphabet!

### 5/5 — Good for writing skills

*2013-01-29, version 2.0*

Using this app with my 3yo, he is engaged with the flash cards but also really loves to learn how to write his letters by tracing what i write. He is learning recognition as well as how to form each. This app is especially neat because i can record my voice (or Grandma's!) onto each letter card to encourage or to use items from our lives and home to help him learn sounds for each letter. We look forward to more educational apps from this developer!

### 5/5 — recommend

*2012-12-21, version 2.0*
