But it rarely works. I'm constantly deleting and then redownloading the app to get it to work correctly. The routes change from what they are before and then leave some out. Very frustrating. I make a few k every month serving. I get paid $50+ a serve and I already drive a lot for my full time job so it's nice. However, they will keep pushing you to make more than 4 attempts for $25. ABC is for someone who wants to make extra $60 a day running arounds and wasting time. There are other companies that pay at $70 per document. ### 1/5 — Don’t work for ABC legal *2025-10-11, version 3.40.1* After working with ABC Legal approximately a year, I was unexpectedly terminated without cause or prior warning — despite a consistent record of professionalism, commitment, and good performance. This experience was extremely disappointing and showed me how important it is for independent contractors to carefully review agreements and understand how some companies operate. I strongly encourage others to be cautious before engaging with organizations that do not value transparency, communication, or fairness in their relationships with contractors. I’m sharing this experience not out of anger, but to help others protect themselves and make informed decisions. ### 1/5 — Low pay *2025-09-27, version 3.39.0* You have to make 7 attempts on one job while expectation is 3 deligent attempts , you don’t get paid for the extra attempts, I tried working full time for weeks and I ended up making less than what I make doing Uber ### 1/5 — Worst application *2025-09-22, version 3.39.0* This application does not keep GPS locations well at all. It refreshes at odd times after you’ve left a location and does not retain data so it must be entered again, sometimes multiple times. The support is not immediate and sometimes takes days to get a response for help. If the application fails, you are blamed for information that the application couldn’t retain for you. Help is a keyword here, if you’re stuck, don’t expect anything immediate or a real person from the “support” team . Usually help comes in the form of an email only on days when support is open. They give themselves 48 hours to respond, which can put you out of work for multiple days at a time. If you’re lucky enough to get a chat with the live chat, you’re basically told every time to go back and due diligence even though you’ve been to an address multiple times. You do not know when your last day will be at this company. It comes without warning, even if you’re doing a good job, be leery of being a contractor. I had one person at this company that was amazing and helpful to me, but their hands were tied in what they could help me with, and they were frustrated as well. ### 1/5 — Internal server error *2025-09-14, version 3.39.0* Internal server error ### 3/5 — When it works it’s good *2025-09-04, version 3.39.0* App generally works. Will not let you choose your own gps app. Got notification that print jobs from app feature was up and running and it is not. Still have to print from desktop website. But, it doesn’t work very well. It’s constantly breaking down making it harder to use. Reducing pay that increased their already high margins (75-125%), inaccurate, unexplained performance metrics to drive out experienced servers and even having a gift card raffle for servers that would leave a positive review here. ### 1/5 — Only utilize this app for experience. *2025-05-28, version 3.37.1* They can and will terminate you without cause. The email they send you has no contact information for you. Unprofessional experience. Their customer service agents are never available, so it requires you to send an email. When you send an email request for assistance, no one ever responds. Your think you’d get a 48 hour turn around response. When you are able to get a customer service rep (if they are available, which is rare), you’ll get mixed information from them as if they aren’t all knowledgeable and on the same page with each other. The app has nonstop bug issues that they have to keep fixing with updates. They make you do additional work/ steps in order to receive your full pay that was quoted to you before accepting a job. Waiting for the courts to approve an alt service can take 40+ days. So half of your pay is in a holding account you can’t receive without completing the alt service or releasing it for someone else to complete. They will charge a client 4x what you’ll be paid for the job. (That’s disappointing to see on a proof). You have to pay for printing, and they will calculate how much you’ll get paid for printing. Most of the time, you’ll take the loss in the end on printing. They weren’t able to print big jobs anymore, but expect you to print 500+ pages and not pay you the full amount you have to pay to print it. It’s best to buy your own printer, but ink and paper can still get costly. The accuracy on the photos is inaccurate sometimes. It’s a lot of self servicing in order to resolve issues on the app. The only positive thing I can say is I enjoyed the learning experience from it. You’ll be better off doing it on your own rather than to go through abc legal. Them terminating the contract humbled me, but allowed me to shoot for better opportunities. You have to delete the app and reinstall in order to create a new route. Job that are accepted and printed randomly go back into the "new" status. Navigating is a nightmare, it is so slow. Every button press takes 30-45 seconds to register. I completed all the steps in the app, but the jobs on the map are absolutely not worth the effort. Because they take the biggest share of the pie, they only give you a sniff. The normal and official payment for this job is $250 per case, but they give you 7 jobs and only pay you $100. Most days it takes over a minute to load each screen, some days it wont login for 20 minutes. The platform as a process server is great and there is plenty of work in my area.
