## What is ABC Letter Meadow?

ABC Letter Meadow is a calm, colourful first alphabet game made for toddlers and preschoolers - and for the parents who sit beside them.

Tap a letter and it comes to life: you hear the sound the letter makes, then a word that starts with it, meet the friendly animal or object in its picture, and watch the meadow bloom with butterflies and confetti. There is no timer, no score to chase and no way to lose. Little ones simply explore at their own pace.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• Explore mode - a meadow of big, chunky letter cards sized for small fingers. Tap any one to hear its sound and its word and see its picture; tap the picture to hear the word said slowly.
• Letter names too - a name button on every card says the letter's name, and a setting in the Parents area adds it after the word whenever a letter is tapped.
• Find the Letter quiz - a gentle listening game that asks for one letter at a time, with three difficulty levels so it grows with your child. The hard level asks by sound.
• Capital and small letters - switch between A B C and a b c so the letters match whatever your child is learning.
• A real voice - every letter sound, letter name and word is recorded by a native-speaking voice actor. No synthetic voices.
• Playful touches everywhere - a friendly owl who says hello and cheers your child on, a wandering ladybug, drifting clouds and a burst of celebration every time a page is finished.

MADE FOR SMALL CHILDREN, AND FOR PARENTS

• No advertising of any kind.
• No accounts, no sign-up, no personal details collected.
• No tracking and no third-party behavioural analytics.
• The whole game plays offline - no connection needed to play or to start, whether or not you have unlocked it.
• Purchase and settings controls sit behind a simple parents-only gate, so a child cannot reach them by tapping around.

FREE TO START

The first twelve letters are free to play, with no time limit and nothing switched off. If your child enjoys it, a single one-time purchase unlocks the whole alphabet and the full-length quiz - for good. There are no subscriptions, no recurring fees and no consumable coins or gems.

Designed and built by a small independent studio, with one goal: a first alphabet app you can hand to your little one without worrying.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-10-05

Every letter, word and phrase is now spoken by a native-speaking voice actor; the synthesised voice is gone.

• Letter sounds: a letter card now plays the sound the letter makes, then its word. The name button on the card says the letter's name, and a new Letter names setting in the Parents area adds the name after the word whenever a letter is tapped.
• Tapping the picture on a card says the word slowly, and tapping the letter or the word repeats that part. A soft ripple shows what is speaking.
• The quiz asks its questions in more ways, repeats a question after two wrong answers in a row, gives a gentle nudge after nine seconds without an answer, and its hard level asks for the letter by its sound.
• The owl now says hello on the menu and offers praise or encouragement as your child plays.
• A sound that gets stuck clears itself, and a question prepared while the app was in the background is asked when your child returns.
• The app has its own home at lettermeadow.com; the Privacy Policy and Support links in the Parents area point there.
