This app features lowercase letters and their sounds. 
It uses the sounds of the letters, not the names of the letters and uses lower case letters rather than uppercase letters. This makes it a perfect match to supplement our classroom phonics work with letters. It contains 4 different games to help teach and test the association of each letter with a sound. There is one matching game, one analysis game and 2 quiz type games. It has 3 different voice options, 3 different font styles and 3 different letter color styles. All in all, this is a neat little app that focuses on the specific task of showing that each letter represents a sound.

This is the only app I have found that uses the letter sounds rather than the letter names. Children need the letter sounds more than they need the letter names. Also, the letters are lowercase which is another thing I have been looking for unsuccessfully in other apps. I highly recommend this app.
