When I can book a taxi they are late or change drivers last minute. The cab turned up 50 minutes late despite me booking the day before. I had to speak with the driver to chase and he said that traffic was bad on the M1. So what does he do to go back? Rather than picking a different route he goes back via the M1. Over 2 hours later we arrive in Aylesbury. Arrived at station and no cab tried tracking cab with nothing showing on the app. chose to wait 5, then 10 ...15minutes later I called the depot to check on progress/location of cab and was told it was ‘literally 3 minutes away’...10mins later told its arrived. Had to convince them i had been standing there, it hadn’t and was very much still waiting. 5 minutes later called to cancel and was told he was ‘seconds away’...I cancelled anyway as this was now a joke. He drove up a couple of minutes later and literally shouted from his seat that I should ‘jump in now’. After I had a good hearty laugh I explained to him I had cancelled the booking via his depot and the app about 10minutes ago now, and that I had booked with Falcon cabs instead. He mumbled something about waiting another 30minutes as he sped off. Needless to say he didn’t do ABC image any favours as about 10-12 train passengers waiting about happened to hear him go off as well.
