I’ve only been receiving quiet notifications for quite some time. How can I go back to receiving haptic notifications? ### 2/5 — Hate going to app which requires update that wont load on phone *2024-11-29* Not everyone updates to the latest model of phone. The old app and iOS version works great on my phone. They still do. But before I can view your ABC app (every day), Your app requires I launch apple store , hit open , which doesn’t update but removes the ABC pop-up notice that says I must update. Please fix so I can just click off the ABC update notice without going to an impossible update. This is a Disney app. Do I REALLY need to explain why this app should be avoided? Okay. This app not only has poor performance, it also has a news team full of bozos that are the best example of why to choose your local news source wisely. These folks seem to always have multiple stories posted that are wildly inaccurate, such as continuing to say my town has had a murder when in fact we have not and they have been told we have not by the town manager and the police chief, yet they continue to say we have and they refuse to update their reports and have released other news stories that mention my town as the location of the murder when we are in fact 20 miles east of the location given. Find a better source for Triangle area news ### 1/5 — Are there any local news apps that aren’t horrible? *2024-05-28* I would expect no less from the rat. I keep getting a popup saying I need to read new terms and conditions and it doesn’t have any way to confirm that I have “read” them and it won’t load thumbnails because “I haven’t agreed to the new terms and conditions”. Who knows. Maybe it’s a good thing. We all remember that episode of South Park about Kyle not reading the terms and conditions and I’m not going to read them either because these corrupt clowns use legal jargon that no normal person can understand in order to get us to allow them to stick it to us without repercussions. Anyways, I digress… they want me to agree to terms and conditions with no way to agree to it and they won’t let my app function correctly unless I agree. I don’t think there’s any good way for me to get the local news without just tuning in on tv when they’re on air. ### 2/5 — App not opening *2024-02-23, version 8.33.0* The app hasn’t opened up in over 4 days.
