However, when I open up a story on my iPad, the font is very large and often I cannot read the story. The font change icon just makes it worse. In the App Store they give you a link for app support, which just goes to the ABC27 website, which has no link for app support - poor support! They should just have the whole morning news recorded so you can play straight through then. I really hate this app… I just want to see the news without having to back in an out to get it to work! But I thought all the pop ads were good enough. This app doesn’t work half the time. The sound cuts out when trying to play the news, you can’t cast it to your tv, and you can’t minimize the screen. It’s getting harder than ever to do that. Despite operating in the public interest is a requirement by the FCC. However, they don’t want to hear from you. Telephone numbers have disappeared from cell phone apps and there is no longer a quick way to report a happening. Today, Thursday August 6th, ABC27’s noon news program was one of the best aired by this Harrisburg, PA station. The on-air team of adults presented a tight newscast with excellent control room performance. The news stories read by Dennis Owens were augmented by his own field work along with that if Barbara Barr, both experienced reporters. Dan Tomaso’s weather discussion was friendly and included critical detail both local and national. WHTM will never see this comment as they have apparently closed the door to public comment. ### 1/5 — Deleted- due to fascism *2025-09-23, version 501.0.0* I deleted this app and everything related to ABC 27 news, ABC, Disney, Hulu and Nexstar for participating in state sanction censorship. Can only read trending topics (no video). I clicked the notification only to be met with a full page ad that I had to wait to go away to see the important information. No thanks. It is much appreciated. I changed my star rating from 3 to 5 stars. ————————————— Since the 500.3.0 app update on 4/9/2024, it is now necessary to scroll the entire way to the top of a story that you are reading to be able to see and use the Back Arrow to get back to read other stories. (The Back Arrow is as the very top left) I find this very annoying and hope it can be changed to always display, no matter where you are in an article. I am running IOS 17.4.1 on an 11 Pro Max.
