Generally works well but there are occasional glitches when a reduced price offer seems not to be applied to an item that is on regular re-order already ‘in the basket’, even on refresh. This means I have to add the item on offer and delete the one already in the basket, or move the latter to a later date. The ‘skip’ button for when you don’t need a regular purchase on a particular week is also helpful, but can be a bit slow. If you care, they care, they won’t brush you off or let you down. They even call you back to keep you posted with what they have done to address your issue. Thanks to the app, I can adapt my weekly delivery, swap the items I don’t need for something else that meets my fancy, it’s very easy to use and I get all the information I need about each product. Great choose of dairy free & gluten free . They even cover my digs needs . We are healthier & happy . The delivery is convenient. The lack of plastic covering my food is refreshing . Recycling is awesome . My passion for helping sustainable farmers & producers thrive in the uk is met by using able & Cole . Plus I’m even spending less & waisting less . However had a new iPhone this week and now the app no longer works. The app is bad overall, is not simple enough, it takes a long time to load (not my internet connection as everything else loads well), it doesn’t remember my cookies preferences so I have to keep saying that I don’t marketing or analysis cookies and it doesn’t recognise my postcode either. When signing up apparently there was an error on the details and wouldn’t let me sign up but also didn’t tell me what was wrong so I had to try and sign up multiple times until it worked (I tried both on the app and website). I haven’t tried the actual food/delivery yet but so far my experience has not been great and it feels like my data is not properly protected (as you collect cookies that I don’t want to even when I say no). No A&C would be a deal breaker if I moved again! They delivered food to me reliably during the early Covid days of uncertainty and scarcity. They deserve my loyalty for that! Their customer service team help kindly, fairly and efficiently in the rare event of something going wrong and are open to suggestions. The delivery staff are always friendly and helpful.. Above all else, the food is good quality, healthy and often come with a creative recipe. I made the decision eventually that having had 8 years of several episodes of ‘chaos with cancer’, that ABLE AND COLE had to become one of my priorities in life if I were to survive longer than my mother did, dying at 67 from bone cancer. Organic food for me, is less about taste (though this is always a bonus)than knowing I am consuming ethically produced NO SPRAYING OR VACCINES, OR CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, than anything else. Abel & Cole provide me with that safety… so I am gradually transitioning, as & when finances allow, to consume only Organic or whatever percentage I can of their produce. Under the guidance of a highly skilled VEGAN Nutritionist, I am guided to consume meat, as my body needs it! So A&C help me achieve this, and I am truly grateful as I feel safe with them!
