If I could give this a 4.5 I would. I’d like to see more support for going back to sleep and more of the series that focus on topics. But everything else I’ve used has been excellent. Most of the narrators are excellent, but just like everyone, there are some that don’t delays resonate with me. This is very minor though. This one is worth it (Well at least the half-off price) I don’t know if I could bring myself to pay the full price so this is a blessing. I love the calming voice of the narrators and the addition of the soothing sounds in the background is chef’s kiss. Today I actually took time to pause and truly meditate on the questions asked during the devotionals and all I can say is “wow.” I would even suggest you pause the speaker and allow the sounds to continue playing so that you can ponder longer than the allotted time. It really allowed me to go deeper. I also actually love that they won’t let you go ahead to the next day’s devotion. It allows what you have just received to marinate vs over-consuming and nothing really setting in. I would love it however if there was a way write in the journal at the same time as I’m listening vs at the end and without having to flip back and forth, so that I can pause the audio as I type or while I’m listening to the Bible I can reference scripture while I’m typing right now I have to use another app or Bible. It would also be nice if when listening to the Bible it would automatically go to the next chapter rather than having to do it manually.
