Go there to find articles for support? You’ll be greeted with some spammy 10% off garbage. The app? I thought I paid for a subscription when I purchased the alarm. Yet there are massive in app advertisements in the app, that you have to pay to hide… Would I purchase the alarm again? So far the answer is a definite no, not unless the customer experience improves. ### 1/5 — False Advertising! *2026-08-19, version 7.1* All those wonderful features come at a price! EVERY month you have to pay more $! You can’t Self Monitor, you can’t review logs, you won’t even know what caused the alert unless you pay, pay, pay! And they recently “upgraded” the app to fill your Dashboard with unwanted Ads, unless you pay extra to get rid of them. What a money grubbing farce! ### 3/5 — Works Ok *2026-07-23, version 7.1* Disappointed in how some videos take very long to play a clip. I doubt it’s a connection issue but I can’t validate that since the app doesn’t communicate signal strength for connected devices. ### 3/5 — Overlay Blocks Recorded Video *2026-07-20, version 7.1* Recording contour to have an Overlay that blocks important video recorded during the event. Please fix this! ### 1/5 — Beware: the AI support chat is really useless *2026-07-19, version 7.1* The app has always been buggy. But now the app support chat defaults to AI. And the AI is really useless in that it wastes your time. Demand a human immediately. ### 4/5 — Like the little girl *2026-06-30, version 7.1* Abode is much like a little girl in the poem. There was a little girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead. And when she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid. Abode is very, very good when it is working. But battery packs often have activity problems. Hubs connectivity goes out. Difficult to tell if it is our modem or Abode modem. Going to reset can be a real problem. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2026-06-22, version 7.1* Anytime I try to open my camera on my Apple TV, the app crashes. Unable to watch for extended periods on my phone even. Would be nice if this were fixed. ### 5/5 — Alarm and app. *2026-06-20, version 7.1* Very good alarm and app. Battery and cellular backup in case of power or internet outages. Monitored alarm system. Has worked flawlessly for over 3.5 years. Monitoring company rings immediately if there is an issue. I replace my device/ sensor batteries yearly, and don’t wait for them to run out. ### 2/5 — Geofence broken *2026-06-13, version 7.1* We've been using this system since it first came out and it's worked well until now. Geofencing has been broken for nearly a month and the only way I got confirmation that it is known is by reading the app reviews. No notice from the company? I would have just manually armed had I known it wasn't working until a fix. They should have updated existing customers. ### 2/5 — Sketchy since the start *2026-06-11, version 7.1* Thought this would be an upgrade over the generic adt or whatever but it’s more of a hassle and now that geofencing doesn’t work, it’s useless. Spent way too much on the gadgets and subscription for it to be this mid.
