Incredible for 3-D scans lately it gets stuck at 7% and can’t render the actual scan. Not sure what happened with the recent release.

Latest version just shows “queued” for over 18 hours now, no longer works, I subbed again but now I’m out the money - not working and possibly no longer maintained / abandoned?

Since it’s unreasonable for anyone to wait >18 hours for their scans, conclusion is this app is not currently usable or maintained.

The photos upload but the service never takes them off the queue. Tested with free trial and with pro membership, iPhone 15. Old service worked.

Edit: downgrading previous review, app not yet updated for iPhone Pro 17. Cannot scan. 
I haven't found anything else as good as this app, and the ease of use and speed of scanning for environments and objects is superb. Unfortunately about 1/5 of the time I cannot process a mesh (app will crash after 7% of "building mesh"), but if that ever gets fixed this would be in my all time top 10 iPhone killer apps

back then i bought premium because i used it a lot, but now the free version doesn’t support stl export, just usdz which is a nightmare to convert. back then the free version was usable, now it’s straight up bait. disgusting is an understatement.

I’ve repeatedly uploaded my substantial project, and the app repeatedly tries to process it, but then eventually gives me the notification that it failed. However, it does not give me any reason why it failed and therefore I do not know how to troubleshoot. This is very unfortunate because I was depending on this scan.

I opened the app to try and scan my first item, gave all the permissions as required including access to my camera. When I went to scan my first item the screen remained black and the camera function inactive.

I used to LOVE this app! I would scan anything and everything, it’s what got me into 3D work. But recently they like scrubbed the platform and I lost all my years of scans. I was upset but whatever I moved on, but now the app won’t even process a single set of images! It has major bugs. Tired of dealing with the buggy behavior and moving to another app now. Sad.

The app used to be very good. However recently I’m unable to do full room scans, the app stops detecting the scan data and leaves massive holes. The photogrammetry option also has dropped in quality and so far the AI feature has never worked for me. Very disappointing. Had the issues on my iPhone 14 Pro and on my iPhone 17 pro.
Update.. another feature broken, unable to process lidar scans “failed to initialise”. Using iPhone 17 pro, latest OS.
Update: Developer has been contacted multiple times regarding the issue and no response received from them. Issues still present.
Update: Developer is still ignoring emails and the app is still faulty! Avoid this app, developer is not active and still taking subscriptions. Apple are also hiding this review

In addition, now I am getting a failed to initialize error when trying to process any scan!

サインアップしようとすると”既にアカウントがあります“と出てくるくせに、サインインしようとすると“アカウントが確認できません”になってログインできない。
おまけにサイトはブラウザで開くとずっとエラーで表示されない。
meta scanからアプリの名前が変わって運営も変わったんだろうか全てがダメになっていく

As other reviews indicate, the app has its sweet spot -- and for my purposes it's a great tool for documenting spaces and the things in them. It took a month or so for the new iPhone 17 Pro to be supported but it's working again, thank you!

今後失われてしまうものだったから3Dスキャンをして永久保存しようと思って購入。
データ作成後、他にも思い出と記録の為にLiDARを使ったドールハウスを作ってアップロード中にクラッシュ。
iPhone16Proを使っていますが、そこからアプリが全く起動しなくなり作成したデータを見ることも、起動することも出来なくなってしまいました。
高額な年間プランで入っているのに使い始めて2週間くらいで使えなくなりました。
返金して欲しいし、データもどうにか返ってきてほしいし・・・かなり悲しい気持ちです。

This is an amazing app. I wanted something that could scan an object and let me view it quickly, easily, and for free. All the other apps I searched through couldn't process the images, weren't supported, didn't have a free option, or simply didn't work. Abound lets you do 5 scans per month in the free version! Not planning on buying the subscription ($15/month or $80/year). Thank you so much developers for this app!
