But sometimes it just cannot add using some bank message. Thanks again for helping us make the app better! ❤️ ### 4/5 — Add wrong payment *2026-08-14* Someone sent me money on gpay , i shared that it added it as a expense, these scenario can come in prod , it should have added it as a side income or something, or received. Otherwise the look and feel of UI is very good 👍, These features i think u introduce , u can create shortcut in iphone and and just add my expense like Sync spend app does . Second i feel you should have a account tracker , like from which bank it got deducted, person like me having more than 1 accounts. Overall and all the UI feel i really like it New feedback: there were 2 transactions of 2500 rs each for the same platform at 12:07pm and 12:08pm but only one getting captured when sharing directly from gpay , if manually uploading pic then it is saying it is duplicate transaction, it is is getting confused when quantity is same i guess so **Developer response:** Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! ❤️ The Google Pay issue is already fixed from the backend, so received payments will now be categorized correctly instead of being added as an expense. I purchased a one-month subscription, but I ran into an issue while trying to edit some transactions. I wasn’t able to swipe down or make the necessary corrections, so I logged out and signed back in using the same Apple ID. After logging back in, my subscription had disappeared, and I couldn’t restore it despite trying multiple times. And to the developer, you did a great job, keep improving the app thas all! ### 4/5 — Useful App, Needs Better Filters *2026-07-10* The app is useful and easy to use, but the Expenses section on the Home page needs better filter and sorting options. Please add category-wise filters and sorting options like High to Low and Low to High. Also, the colored expense circles should be clickable. When tapping on a specific color or category in the expense chart, it should show only the expenses related to that category on the Home page. Thank you ### 2/5 — Please fix *2026-07-06* The app is totally broken and in usable, UI is great but what’s the point of having good UI when you can’t even log your expense which should be the primary habit of this app but everytime I log some expense it throws error saying service error 500 or please try again and even you meta data is exposed on that error. For example, I recently added a credit entry, but it was mistakenly saved as a debit (expense). Since there is no edit option, I can’t correct it. An edit feature is essential because users can make mistakes while entering data and should be able to update their entries later. We really appreciate your suggestion! 🙌 ### 2/5 — Good Start but needs improvement *2026-07-05* Hi Shlok & Team, To support your efforts, I downloaded the app and purchased the premium version so I could properly evaluate it and provide feedback. I was thinking along similar lines myself, and this is clearly a visible problem and market gap. I’d even be interested in investing in this space. A few observations from my initial testing: - Screenshot-based statement extraction is not always accurate. - Even when it works, some transactions are missed. I suspect image compression during upload may be affecting readability. - For privacy reasons, I was not comfortable uploading full statements containing sensitive financial information. - Having both the credit card statement and the corresponding bank transaction for bill payment seems to distort the calculations, possibly due to double counting. I am continuing to test further and would be happy to help in any way if there is a faster path to improving the product and making it the leading app in this segment. One thing i noticed is i cannot add income transaction manually. It by default adds in the expense section. There is should be an option for treating any transaction as income or expense while manually adding any transaction. Add an option to select or edit the transaction date, so users can make date-wise entries. 2. Include a Mode of Payment field (such as Cash, Bank Account, Credit Card, UPI, etc.) for better expense tracking. 3. We really appreciate your feedback! ### 2/5 — Can’t use it in UAE & found some bugs. *2026-07-04* I really like the concept and design of the AboutMoney app, and I genuinely want to use it as my daily expense tracker. However, it seems like the app is mainly designed for users in India. I live in the UAE, and when I tried importing my Apple Pay transactions and SMS spending notifications in AED, the app didn’t detect them at all. It also appears to only support the Indian Rupee (₹), which makes it difficult for international users. I also found a few issues: * The Split feature doesn’t work properly. When I add another person and tap Split, the amount isn’t divided. * There’s a usability issue when adding a new expense. After tapping the + button, the keyboard covers the bottom part of the screen, making it difficult or impossible to tap some of the options or the Save button. I often have to go back and enter everything again. I really hope the developers expand support to other countries and currencies, especially AED and other international currencies. This app has a lot of potential, and I’d love to use it in the UAE. There should be face id or mpin kind of login for easy and convenient. Also most of the times it shows a error while adding a expense that also need to fix.
