The problem is the camera screen goes black and you have to do a hard reset. When resetting it, it's really loud and I usually need to do it when the baby is sleeping bc that's when I check the monitor. I paid $220 for this whole kit. After hitting retry about 15 times, even with full WiFi and no reason at all for an issue, you’ll be lucky to get the camera feed refreshed and connected. That was how we’ve operated over the past two weeks. Now I’ve run into an issue where the video feed will not work no matter what you do. I tried re setting the camera. I tried unplugging it for 5 minutes and restarting it. Literally nothing works. Not only is this camera a waste of money, it’s dangerous to use as a tool for the safety of your baby. ### 1/5 — Complete junk *2024-08-04* Literally just connected it and it opened for all of 2 minutes then froze. Haven’t been able to get back in or see anything live. since guess we will stick with the cheap one at least that one works ### 2/5 — Don’t waste your money *2024-08-04, version 3.3.0* I bought this monitor to replace my Miku baby monitor (absolutely do NOT buy that monitor either!). The camera picture is good, I will give Cheego that, but that’s basically the only good thing. It doesn’t remember any of your settings for alerts, the nightlight or anything like that. It doesn’t run audio in the background, meaning, if I have the app up but then go to scroll fb or something I can no longer hear my son. My BIGGEST issue: the camera makes this godawful grinding noise randomly. It’s loud and unsettling. It wakes my son up almost every night, which I understand, because it creeps me out too. I regret buying this monitor immensely. ### 1/5 — Camera has network connection issue *2024-07-28* When the issue happens for one specific camera, I cannot even go back to check other cameras, the only workaround is deleting the app and reinstalling, also my x3 pro has consistent connectivity issue ### 1/5 — Constant connection issues and app crashes *2024-06-20, version 3.3.0* I recently got an x3 pro and the app froze so often we didn’t even install it. Even when sitting right next to our network closet, the camera had connection issue. Don’t waste your money. ### 2/5 — Hit or miss *2024-03-31, version 3.3.0* I love that it works with Alexa and I can pull it up on the Alexa show instead of only being able to open it on my phone. App was working great until recently. Light is automatically set on the lowest setting, even when we adjust it, it automatically resorts back. My son just randomly woke up and started screaming, I got no notifications and opened the app to see if he was okay.
