The board game that talks to you. Magical Chess by AbraTabia has all new, fully animated, talking game pieces that bring the game to life. Each of the 10 piece types have their own voices, storyline and personality. They will make jokes and comments about the current game and teach you how to become better at the game too. AbraTabia is a 2-4 player turn based game, inspired by chess but with more exciting game play. Game pieces can cast spells with dramatic effects such as healing, changing board position, going stealth and more. Intense games in our ranked cross platform multiplayer. Unlock Talent Points as you level up, adding variation in game play tactics, piece movement and spells.

AbraTabia has deep stories of all characters in a modern day fantasy world setting. An ancient medieval world mixed with present day culture and technology; also mixed with fantasy magic. Don't know how to play chess? No problem! AbraTabia is a much more forgiving game, where you can recover from mistakes and not need to learn complex chess strategies. The game is too dynamic to memorize opening moves or for better players to always win. Playing with a teammate also allows you to learn and be helped by better players.

It’s Not Chess … It’s AbraTabia! A chess player will feel familiar with the game at the start but it is not the same game. Really, not at all. You win the game by defeating the enemy king(s), move chess pieces around a chess board turn by turn, but after that you are in a very different world.

Combat is much different than chess as each piece has health, and can survive multiple attacks before you lose that piece. Whenever a piece is attacked, it will Counter Attack the enemy piece that attacked it. Multiple piece attacks are also possible. Should you run? Should you make one last stand? There are many short term decisions while still playing a long term strategy.

Spells create unique game play allowing for special abilities to affect game play significantly. Timing when to use each spell is the biggest part of game play strategy. Spells include various Healing and Damage spells, Sacrifice, Teleport, Swap Positions, Stealth and spells to allow extra movement. Spells can be changed or modified by talent points.

Your pieces fight like an army, using different spell and movement strategies to take out enemy pieces, and eventually win the game by defeating all enemy kings on the board. Do you have what it takes to become an AbraTabia Grand Master?
