They have a zoom feature and a color wheel to choose just the right color and they have like, a color wheel to choose just the right background color too! I mean they have everything! I like that you can put a photo on there! It's also a bug free app, amazing! Never crashes! I have a lot of other drawing apps none of them are this good!! They also let you choose exactly how big or small you want your brush to be too!! You can save your drawings and they get saved right in a gallery that if you go to the gallery then click on one of your saved drawings it automatically brings it up again and you can update if you want. Also you can email your drawing to a person! The best drawing app you have to get it!!!!!!!! ### 5/5 — I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !!! *2012-03-27, version 1.8* This is the easiest, fastest, method of note taking. All you do is write with your finger! Add as many new notes as you want, you can delete them later. I use it for quick room drawings and measurements. Grocery lists. Don't forget lists, and you can check them off with a touch of your finger. Or for fun, you can use it to draw pictures or modify the photos saved on your iPad. It's bright, colorful, easy to use, and you can't beat the price! I even ignored all of the little flaws, while using the Apple Pencil, such as still having palm marks everywhere (a problem you'd expect on an iPad app from 2012. The problem came when I went to export it. Insanely awful. It will only export what it can see on the screen (did I mention my mind map was huge) and it exports it in a very low quality, illegible, un-zoomable, image. Very upset. I wasted hours brainstorming our new Corporate direction--and now have to draft the whole thing over again. Argh! What a waste of valuable time and focused brain energy. ### 1/5 — Not free *2011-08-06, version 1.3* I did the suggested fix/upgrade and found I couldn't continue using it for free unless I donated. I have it always in my front app page because it is so useful to take notes. What it needs. To be able to receive a "paste" from a text "copy". This could be really useful when you are reading something and want to save part of that information for later reference. Then it could be a "5" ### 4/5 — Absolute Board *2012-03-06, version 1.7* Sometimes it's just easier to explain with a quick sketch.....like explaining length and width measurements and where and how much to add or subtract....what a great app! thank you to Hyeoseong Hwang...saves me time ...faster to show what I mean than to type so many sentences to be logical in phrase-form. Except the eraser icon is actually the pen ... And the pen icon is the eraser....but that's okay, I can invert allright, no biggie.... Still a great app! Was glad to donate, even though app is free. Aloha, B.G.RUSSO ### 4/5 — Great for the classroom! *2011-07-12, version 1.2* This is a great app for the classroom. I am a science teacher and we must use journals in class for student learning. This in conjunction with evernote is a great digital solution for journaling in the classroom. The only thing I would love to see added, is the ability to import pictures from the camera roll and save projects to the camera roll instead of only being able to email them out. I teach a miriad of topics in middle school science including plate tectonics and atomic structures, both requiring graphics that I would love to import into abso.board to doodle over and allow my students to doodle over. Please, please, please add the ability to import pictures from the camera roll and to save projects to the camera roll and this would easily be the best whiteboard solution! It's already perfect but a few features could make it even more so: the ability to select and move part of a drawing, the ability to export as PDF. Even without these, it is a winner. 2018. The new version has an ad, discretely placed. It appears when you touch the document storage button. Being able to take pictures instantly to display and draw on is fantastic! Importing photos is easy and it's great to download the work into .png to save into a .pdf for note saving and posting for students. We teach a few of the same classes, too, so being able to save page changes as new pictures is great to keep the notes defined per class. What I would really like as an addition is to be able to draw straight lines, geometric figures, circles and to be able to type on occasion (sometimes our handwriting isn't the best…lol).
