Absurd Running is a run planner and race-day companion for marathoners and ultrarunners. Build your route, pacing, fueling, and gear plan before the start, then race with a companion that always knows where you are on course. Change your pace mid-race and every checkpoint ETA and cutoff recalculates instantly, fully offline.

WORKS OFFLINE
Maps, GPS, checkpoints, fueling reminders, gear lists, and your whole route keep working with zero signal, whether you're deep in the mountains, in a canyon, or on airplane mode to save battery. Not a breadcrumb fallback: real, downloadable offline maps.

ROUTES
Draw a route on the map or import a GPX. Edit anytime, right on your phone, no laptop required.

PLAN YOUR STRATEGY
Replace your race-day spreadsheet. Set your pacing, checkpoints, and fueling rules, like "one gel every 45 minutes" or "salt tab every hour after CP3." See cutoffs and drop-bag contents for every stop, and assign gear to any checkpoint, like a waterproof jacket waiting at Aid Station 4.

RACE DAY
The app knows where you are on course and what's coming next. Change your target pace at mile 40 and every remaining checkpoint ETA and cutoff margin updates instantly. Fueling and hydration reminders run on their own clock, every 40 minutes for example, so they keep firing on schedule no matter how your pace shifts.
