## What is ABT Go?

ABT Go is the mobile tool for commissioning and maintenance tasks of Siemens devices used in building automation and control systems.
Available functions:
1) Access to Siemens devices for commissioning and maintenance tasks based on security authentication.
2) Support of Siemens devices: Desigo room automation DXR1/2.. or PXC3.E .., Desigo automation stations PXC4/5/7.., Siemens Intelligent Valve EVG/F
3) Support of software and configuration update incl. backup/restore as well as online configuration changes for DXR1 and EVG/F.
4) Fast overview of all devices in the network (name, type, IP address, location, equipment ID).
5) Easy and intuitive diagnostics in one list for all devices or via graphic for the DXR1/2… or PXC3.E..
6) Dashboard for a fast overview of the device commissioning status.
7) View, manage and report commissioning status of each data point (not checked, failed, passed).
8) Add/change the assignment of KNX PL-Link devices for DXR1/2 .. or PXC3.E ..PXC4/5/7
9) Add/change the assignment of DALI 1 and DALI 2 devices for PXC3.E ..
10) Indication of manually overridden data points and commanding of them.
11) Indication of data points in alarm including reset/acknowledge for the DXR2… or PXC3.E.. or PXC4/5/7..

Requirements:
• Desigo room automation stations (DXR1/2... or PXC3.E..) from Siemens on Ethernet (BACnet/IP) or MS/TP (BACnet/MSTP).
• Desigo automation stations (PXC4/5..) for primary plants from Siemens on Ethernet (BACnet/IP) or MS/TP (BACnet/MSTP) or activated device access point 
(WLAN) ) with application loaded, network setup finished.
• Siemens Intelligent Valve on Ethernet (BACnet/IP) or activated device access point (WLAN).
• Network communication established over WLAN (access point/router) to a BACnet/IP network that contains the Siemens devices in the same IP subnet (proxy 
free) or over router to a BACnet/MSTP network.
• Power save mode disabled.

Die Adressierung ist mühselig aber geht. Leider lässt die App nur Verbindung über WLAN zu, wenn ich mich über Ethernet verbinde, wird die Verbindung nicht erkannt… Was am meisten stört, dass nahezu keine Diagnose am Dalibus durchgeführt werden kann. Beim ersten Fehler aufgeschmissen.. Aber wir sind ja noch am Anfang. Vielleicht wird’s noch, dann kann ich ja revidieren.

Für Erstinbetriebnahme tatsächlich gut. Es ist kein All Inklusive Tool aber sollte es auch nicht sein wie ich es verstanden habe. Dali Diagnose Software für Fehlersuche gibt’s auch noch kostenlos, verständlich dass ihr das Rad nicht neu erfindet. 
Mit Dali Diagnose Software in Kombination kann man ABT Go gut nutzen.

Die ständigen Abstürze wenn man die App schließt oder sich das Handy sperrt sind sehr nervig und erfordern häufiges neustarten der App

Desweiteren  wäre eine Suchfunktion nach Bezeichnungen wünschenswert da manche Peogrammierung nicht stimmt und man sich ewig durchwühlen muss bis man die richtige Adress gefunden hat ….

While using it to commission Siemens controllers, if a call comes through or the phone screen saver comes on, you need to quit the app and log back in and worse still, add a password..

I hope this feedback gets to someone who can fix it.  Other than that it works great

We have noticed this behavior especially on iOS as well and our developers working on that, and we assume to be able to change this behavior soon. Please stay patient until we can deliver a version with this fix included.

Wenn ich ein Backup was mir ein Kollege zuschickt hinzufügen möchte wird mir zwar angezeigt das es in den Ordner verschoben wurde, es wird mir aber in der App nicht angezeigt.

It’s great that we can check DXRs on the phone and iPad as long as you have an wireless access point available on the DXR network or to the panel. 

I gave it 4 stars because ABT GO does not support Hardwire on iPad Pro with type C Ethernet adapter.
