Late night temp control
I like sleeping in a cooler room but hate reaching for the remote at 2am. With my phone next to me, I just tweak the temperature and go back to sleep. Makes those small adjustments much easier.

Handy for office setup
We use a small AC in our shared office and the remote always disappears. I installed this so I can quickly lower the temperature during meetings without interrupting anyone. It’s been pretty convenient so far.

Works with old AC unit
I have an older wall unit and wasn’t sure it would connect, but it synced after a bit of trial and error. Now I can change modes and fan speed from the couch instead of standing on a chair.

Saved me during heatwave
During the recent heatwave I couldn’t find my physical remote anywhere. I used this to turn the air on before I even got home. Walking into a cool apartment after work honestly made a big difference.
