Even the confirmation emails that are sent when booking a trip contain placeholder images. The app works, but it really could use the bare minimum of attention to make it feel less amateurish. ### 1/5 — Don’t even bother installing it. *2023-08-26, version 8.7.0* Undoubtedly, this app stands as a prime example of the most disappointing taxi applications I have ever encountered. The experience of waiting for a cab for a mere 15 minutes, only to have it inexplicably canceled, is nothing short of exasperating. Astonishingly, I've endured this ordeal not once, but twice, within the span of a month. Coupled with the abysmal customer support that fails to provide any meaningful assistance, I find myself compelled to part ways with this application and have chosen to delete it from my device. This leaves me with absolutely no doubt that installing it would be a grave mistake. ### 1/5 — Terrible ride service *2021-12-27, version 7.1.0* They have on several occasions “cancelled” my ride I waited 30+ minutes for leaving me to wait another 30 minutes before getting a ride. Drivers are nice but I hardly ever see them when most of my rides get cancelled. ### 1/5 — Misleading app *2021-12-11, version 7.1.0* This is an app that you think gets you a taxi booking but in fact it’s not a confirmed booking like Uber they just take customers on first come basis. Better to call yellow cabs they take confirmed bookkngs. Also the app quotes a price then they just charge you on the meter which is always higher ### 1/5 — Messes up time zone *2021-12-07, version 7.1.0* Just started using the app and disappointed that it confuses time zones. I like to prebook my ride while I’m in Alberta before my flight leaves. Although I enter the time I want picked up (eg 6pm BC time), when I get my confirmation text, it says it’s booked for a 5pm pickup. So any time I try using the app, I need to call to confirm the reservation anyways. Might as well stop using the app if it doesn’t save a phone call. ### 1/5 — Fix it *2020-07-07, version 6.0.16* This app is an absolute joke. I did frantically reach out to one of your AC drivers at the ferry drop off location he refused then I moved into another AC driver in front of him she was able to trace the car and # and get my cell phone back to me. That was a very narrow 20 minutes margin before I had to leave another big thank you to the driver! Huge thank you to the nice blonde lady who reached out!!!! ### 5/5 — Ease of use is excellent *2023-06-22, version 8.4.1* Easy to book and easy to pay. App works flawlessly. ### 5/5 — AC Taxi *2022-06-13, version 7.2.0* I have always had very good service from all the drivers I have had. I frequently use the taxi service as I am unable to drive and I prefer this company over any other one. The drivers are always polite, friendly, helpful when I need them to help with groceries and they always do it with a smile. They are always courteous and don’t mind having a bit of a conversation on the trip. Please be mindful, as this is a health and safety concern.
