The Apple Wellness app freezes if I leave the app (eg. to go check my calendar), notifications when chatting "on demand" with a provider are often delayed or nonexistent (at random, meaning you have to keep the screen on this app, unlocked, until they reply), and most frustratingly, requires 2FA at least every 24 hours (which realistically means every time I open it). The irony is this is an app on my iPhone, so any 2FA verification text is going straight to the same phone. It's adding frustration without preventing any sort of fraud (the actual purpose of 2FA). If anyone knew my passcode to be able to open this Apple Wellness app, they obviously can read the 2FA text. Please remove this unnecessary and frustrating "feature". The button to access labs/test results just opens a pop up of Safari asking you to log in manually to AC wellness (and do 2FA) all over again. That's very pointless. If you can't manage to integrate the records into this app, please just write "Records can be accessed on our website here". Hyperlink "here" to your website and make sure to open separately in Safari so I can continue using the Apple Wellness app while checking my records. The Inbox tab is very confusing, I would love to see a search feature, and a "filter by provider" option. The invite to surveys (via email, or inbox in the app) about external or internal providers is not helpful because it never seems to specify which provider the survey is regarding. Sometimes I see multiple a day. Would love to see a "Give us feedback on your experience with Dr X on Jan 1, 2020 at 1:00pm!" In the subject line or at the top. PLEASE raise massage rates if you're not going to make more availability. There are never appointments available in the next 3 months, even after they got limited to 15/year. $60/50 min is about half what I pay outside of Apple Wellness. Most Apple employees can well afford to pay more than that for an elective massage. One last mention, any outside office I go to asks for the Apple Wellness fax number. Maybe consider putting that under "Contact Us". In summary, the services Apple Wellness provides are good. The app execution is subpar. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t accept wellness credentials *2024-05-10, version 4.15* Can’t get logged in. Using the same credentials for the wellness website works without issue. ### 1/5 — Please fix the calendar access bug *2023-10-24* Unable to add appointments to calendar on the iOS app. Makes it difficult to keep track of appointments. Please fix soon ### 1/5 — Unable to Create Account *2023-05-25* I am able to get to Confirm Your Account Details. I type in phone number, password, and confirmed password a second time. Shows a check mark for first password, not for second password. Unable to tape on Create Account button at bottom. Device is up to date - iOS 16.5. ### 1/5 — “Update to use” *2023-05-24* Can’t even check my appointments because of this “ update” bug that is nonexistent in the updates list. ### 1/5 — Unable to create account *2022-12-14, version 4.1* Pretty hard to use since it is not allowing account creation. ### 1/5 — App keeps crashing… *2022-11-02, version 4.0* When I try to enter the verification code to set up and create an account, it kills the app. I’m trying upload documents to update my medical profile. ### 1/5 — Update issues *2020-07-09* I have really liked the ease of use of this app. However, after the update I no longer see new appointments and new emails. ### 1/5 — App freezes when trying to log in *2019-11-08, version 2.1.0* 11-8-2019 iOS 13.2.2 on iPhone 11 Pro App freezes as soon as you tap email bar to enter email with keyboard frozen with first letter selected. And can not sync newest insurance info. Can they make this app to be like “apple product” user experiences level ? ### 1/5 — Need to delete and redownload every use *2026-07-30* The app has a popup asking for me to review something and never lets me go to the next page or close out. Even if I force close the app it is still stuck. I have to delete and redownload the app every single message, chat, schedule etc because that popup appears and I cannot use the app. ### 1/5 — Bug *2026-07-24* This Health App Data page continues to ask to “review” but clicking review does not lead to anything nor proceeding to any other page. And no exit button for this page. So my app is totally stuck in this page whenever I open this app. Cannot use it at all. ### 1/5 — App hangs up at getting Access to Health Data. *2026-07-14* Can’t do a single thing except delete re install and get what you were doing. It’s horrible user experience. **Developer response:** This is caused by a regression in iOS 26.5, and should be fixed in 26.6. To workaround the issue, please go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → AC Wellness and manually toggle off/on Blood Pressure data type. ### 1/5 — Incorrect policy stated. *2026-06-29, version 4.27* Incorrect message stated, specifically regarding cancellation policy. ### 1/5 — Fix the Review Access Popup *2026-06-29, version 4.27* It won’t go away I can’t use the app ### 1/5 — No keyboard to reset password *2025-05-02* Would be really cool if you could reset your password in the app. As it is, it opens to a page promoting for an email and there is no keyboard to type on when using iPhone 15 Pro Max on iOS 18.4.1 ### 1/5 — Great service, poor execution *2025-01-26* Firstly, can’t setup account if you don’t have work email access which we as retail employees don’t have access to. So basically I can’t create account when I needed urgent care. Second, benefits site says dependents are covered but I’m told underage dependents are not covered. Third, all dependents need to have their own account setup to use ACW which is again never documented on benefits site. The app is pretty decent but signup process is definitely very bad. Definitely execution part needs lots of work. Otherwise great concept ### 1/5 — Oops, something went wrong…. *2024-07-14, version 4.17* Can’t check in. When adding to calendar please have the ability to select which calendar to add to 2. The calendar event has the visit type + practitioner listed in the name (Example: Physical Therapy w/ Jane Smith). I just spent a lot of time writing a long nicely-formatted message with several paragraphs, which upon sending was compressed into a single paragraph forming an unreadable wall of text. This should be super easy to implement so please add it and I will be happy to change to 5. ### 2/5 — Buggy new release *2021-04-27, version 3.0.2* In the newest revamp of this app, I hit a bug every time I check in for an appointment. I follow through the prompt of logging in, getting the SMS text code, following through the prompt of confirming my information. Once I’m checked in, it brings me to the app main page, and then the app hijacks the functionality of my phone. I cannot close the app, it pops back open. I try to open a different app, AC wellness app pops back open. I can’t force close it, it just re-opens every time. It is very annoying. The only thing that fixes it is turning off my phone. This app has also started randomly opening itself without clicking it as well. For now I have uninstalled and am using the web version until it can be fixed.
