## What is Academy Link® Educator?

The Academy Link Educator app offers an easy, efficient way to quickly complete essential daily tasks on the fly, online or offline. The app simplifies teaching, documentation, classroom management and family engagement throughout the day, enabling teachers to make the most of every moment with easy-to-use tools right at their fingertips.

A single app to support all essential classroom tasks, including:

- View and teach directly from your daily schedule, curriculum, activities, and care routines
- Create documentation and share insights with families
- Communicate with families
- Save & share photos, videos and other media across devices
- Take attendance, move children or staff, and complete name-to-face checks
- Track care routines and share Daily Reports with families

Academy Link Educator requires a SmartTeach login and is available only to Kiddie Academy staff.

As part of routine maintenance, we regularly update our mobile apps to ensure we are delivering products that meet the needs of our customers. This release addresses bug fixes related to media captures and app performance.

Academy Link Educator 4.6 introduces Quick Share—a faster way to share media and notes to child portfolios, Daily Reports, and family emails. This release also adds Kiosk Mode for secure family PIN code check-in and staff clock-in/out on shared devices, plus aligned learning standards allowing educators to view all additional learning standards enabled by their childcare center within Documentation. We've also included bug fixes and performance improvements to enhance overall app reliability.

Additional fixes improve messaging, documentation, media sharing, and overall app reliability.

This update makes Academy Link faster, simpler, and more seamless for Kiddie Academy staff. Enjoy secure, streamlined access with Kiddie Academy Single Sign-On (SSO), along with a new Expanded Roster view featuring larger child photos for quicker identification. Enhanced sorting options—including Homeroom, Location, Last Name, First Name, and Age—help users find children faster, especially during busy drop-off and pick-up times. Attendance flows are now more efficient with fewer taps and clearer language. You can also record Toilet and Diaper checks together in a single Daily Report entry. Plus, important bug fixes improve messaging, documentation, media sharing, and overall app reliability.
