## What is Access Fontana?

Citizens in the City of Fontana can now submit service requests directly through their iPhones or the City’s website that will automatically get routed to the correct department for proper handling.  Through a partnership with PublicStuff, graffiti and potholes reported will go directly to the Public Works department and immediately create a work order.  Once completed, you will be notified through your phone or email that the work is complete.  Dead animal pickup requests will be routed to Police Dispatch and an Animal Services Officer will be sent out to remove it.  Note: You will not receive a notification when the dead animal has been removed.  Additional service request types will be added in the future.

The Access Fontana app worked way better than the new Fontana 311 app. Address selections are limited and photos have a 5mb upload limit making it difficult to upload directly from phone without reducing the file size. Total pain.

I would use this app all the time to have graffiti removed, shopping carts or illegal dumping hauled away, but now the app demands that you sign in rather than make entries anonymously.  Now I see the same shopping cart on the corner for a week, dumped debris still in the road, etc.  
I will NOT sign in to help keep Fontana clean.   Your loss.   Now Fontana will get dirtier because you want people’s email address, rather than just cleaning up the mess entered by anonymous citizens.

Go back to anonymous and watch the streets get clean again.   Stop fishing for info that’s non of your business.

I love that citizens now have easier access to city needs. I don't know if it's just me, but I wasn't able to pull up and sign up for a class I wanted. I still have to call, but I will wait for the problem to be fixed so that I may try again for a future class.
