### 3/5 — Not functional

*2025-07-15, version 2.2.2*

Using iPhone 16 Pro Max, once I’ve found somewhere and I’ve pressed view details I’m not able to press the back arrow in the top left, I try tapping but it’s not responsive, have to close the app and start again.

### 4/5 — Really useful

*2022-03-19, version 2.2.2*

Great app however the pictures are quite small so it would be nice to be able to zoom into them to really see them closer and see what the area is like

### 4/5 — A great tool for disabled people to plan journeys

*2019-02-28, version 1.37*

I believe this app is a great tool for all disabled people. It gives clear and simple information on what accessibility features are or are not available in a particular place.

After trying out the app, I would suggest having maps of the venue and a GPS system included. Although the app does have the names of streets and particular entrances and areas of a venue (e.g Porchester Square), it isn’t always clear where that is within the location. This is particularly difficult for those with sight loss, like myself, who cannot read a regular size map or view signs within the venue.

### 4/5 — Good beginnings

*2019-02-18, version 1.36*

A solid first effort; making updates & submitting extra info easier would be a valuable next step, as I found a few mistakes & missing submissions on my first search. But hey, keep on developing - thanks!

### 5/5 — Brilliant idea

*2019-02-15, version 1.36*

This app is exactly what was needed for the disabled community. Great work guys 👍🏻

### 5/5 — This app is fantastic.

*2019-02-15, version 1.36*

Title says it all, I’ve been looking for an app like this for a while, it’s always a pain to google places individually when going out and about, this is super handy to have it all in one app! Can’t recommend it enough, the feature to select what assistances you need is great! Also loving the colour scheme and font design 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

### 5/5 — Highly recommended

*2019-02-15, version 1.36*

Super handy and just makes it that little bit easier when you’re out and about

### 5/5 — Very useful and easy to use

### 5/5 — Very helpful when out and about

*2019-01-07, version 1.35*

Used to do research on places we could visit before leaving home. Now I can get the detailed info on my phone when out and about.

### 5/5 — Beautiful and super useful!

*2018-11-04, version 1.32*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great idea but it isn’t disability friendly

*2022-07-25, version 2.2.2*

After reading the specialist reviews on venues I still couldn’t tell you if a building was or wasn’t accessible to me as a disabled person so it needs work before it’s helpful.

A bit like going to a chip shop and they don’t have any chips.

### 1/5 — Good idea but…

*2022-04-30*

No participation, data or interest to keep this app alive. Almost no data in their database. Nice try though.

### 1/5 — Not working again

*2021-12-01, version 2.2.2*

The search engine is not working again and it’s not searching anything in any city working only when you leave blank field
The search engine showing on the results in your current location but when you type different city name it shows nothing

### 1/5 — Would love this to work for me, but it doesn’t

*2021-11-02, version 2.2.1*

Using iPhone. Have tried to search using the app, but when inputting the details (type & location required) nothing shows up on the input screen - though I can see from the cursor movement that something is being registered as input. Clicked to search anyway, screen said ‘searching’, but nothing actually loaded. Tried from the web browser, was able to input details visibly, but clicking ‘Search’ produced an error coded ‘500’. Hoping the developer can look at this and work out where the problem lies. I SO want the site to work for me - but it just doesn’t.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2019-10-11, version 1.38*

Just downloaded this app. When I click on Hospital what do I get? Hospitality at Southampton Football Club!
Clearly much more work is needed to iron out such bugs

### 1/5 — Lacks information

*2019-08-24, version 1.38*

This app shows no wheelchair access pubs and restaurants on the Isle of Wight. That is rubbish there are at least 30 that I know of.

### 1/5 — Could be great!

*2018-11-11, version 1.32*

Not enough places etc yet!

### 1/5 — Great potential but sadly not there yet

*2018-10-26, version 1.3*

Such potential for this app, and one that’s sorely needed. Issue at the moment is that whilst it may be great if do searches in or near large cities, for lesser places, eg the South West, search results are severely reduced.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2025-07-26, version 2.2.2*

Not sure why but it doesn’t seem to work on my iphone 16. The back button/filter button are so high at the top of the screen they just dont seem to work. Ive pressed and pressed and they do nothing. Not sure if its because of the screen layout or why its happening but i have to close the whole app down

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work very well with large fonts

*2019-07-10, version 1.37*

For an “accessible” app, why has it not been tested when the user has enlarged fonts enabled?

### 5/5 — Really most useful app

*2025-08-07, version 2.2.2*

Whenever we need to venture out the ability to research venues suitable for my disabled wife to enjoy is a must and this app has all the information we need.

### 5/5 — Just what we needed!

*2020-01-14, version 1.38*

First of all I would like to say a huge thank you for all the work that has gone into creating the Accessable app, it has been particularly useful when we have been out and about in helping to locate Changing places bathrooms for my son and meant that we are able to longer enjoy days out as a family without constantly worrying about changing facilities.
I came across your site after a particularly difficult holiday last year when lack of access had a major impact on our holiday. Whilst I was there I thought of setting up something exactly like you have to make life easier as I am convinced it shouldn't always have to be such a challenge. Anyway, luckily for me and many others Accessable has already done all the work in the UK so I will be sharing your resource with others in the various groups I am involved in.
The app covers a wide range of access needs but if your particular need isn’t covered the developers seem keen to ensure it is covered in the future.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2019-02-26, version 1.37*

This is a really great and useful app, makes such a difference knowing exactly what facilities are available before I go out and about! No more anxiety and a sense of independence and freedom! 100% would recommend!

### 5/5 — Brilliant Resource for Disabled People

*2019-02-26, version 1.37*

AccessAble is exactly what disabled people have been looking for.

Far too often access information is limited, non existent and wrong. This save so much time, effort and stress.

It provides more option and easier access for disabled people.

I love the fact that the app caters to as many needs as possible to support as many people, with many kinds of disability.

It is clear that a lot of thought, research, time and discussion with disabled people has gone into this app which is exactly how it should be.

I am excited to see what happens in the future of AccessAble.

I highly recommend this app if you are disabled, support someone who is etc.

### 5/5 — Superb app

*2019-02-20, version 1.36*

Superb app, so easy to navigate, and of course backs up the much needed service provided by Access Able

### 5/5 — User friendly and extremely useful app

*2019-02-20, version 1.36*

The App is very easy to use and navigate, with a logical search facility to help users find what they’re looking for. It is a must have app for the disabled community, helping improve the quality of their everyday lives.

### 5/5 — Finally!!!

*2019-02-20, version 1.36*

What a great resource - lots of places identified that I want to go to, from my local town to racecourses and premier league grounds!
Looking forward to exploring more...

### 5/5 — Access able review

*2019-02-19, version 1.36*

It's an excellent app with very helpful information. It's been designed very well and works easily with VoiceOver.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-02-18, version 1.36*

Great App, with lots of different venues covered. The in depth detail that goes into researching these venues is very good. Making such a difference to peoples lives

### 5/5 — Great App with info you can trust

*2019-02-16, version 1.36*

Fantastic level of detail, photos and measurements. Clearly lots of investment in sending people to check out each place. Great there’s no self assessment as too often people forget about that ‘small step’.

Perfect if like us you need to know specific information about accessible toilets, entrances etc before going somewhere for the first time.

My local area of Lincolnshire has patchy coverage but hopefully local places will want to partner with AccessAble if we show them the difference this info can make.
