I don’t have text to 911, so in an emergency I would waste time trying it before calling 911

**Developer response:** Thank you for your comment. We are actively working on adding a feature that enables users to use the accesSOS app in areas where text to 911 is not possible. Until then, you can go to contact911.org on your mobile phone's browser and you will be able to use the accesSOS platform in your area now to get help in an emergency if you are in our launched locations within New Mexico. We are working hard to launch in further states soon.

During first walk thru, it looks great, both simple and on point. This is sorely needed!!! 
Will this will work in Seattle, metro and beyond? 
Would love to test for Braille users and low vision people I know and work with.

accesSOS enables me to continue cycling and hiking independently in my senior years, when falls can occur unexpectedly.  Very intuitive and useful app.

I saw a car hit a motorcycle and the motorcyclist was hurt and used this app to get help. It was helpful because I didn’t know where I was and the app sent my location to 911. Ambulance arrived within 5 min to help the motorcyclist

I was on a hike late in the evening, and someone started following me on the trail. The man was talking to himself and acting erratically, and scared me beyond measure. I remembered I had this app installed from long ago, and I was going to ask emergency agents to call my phone hoping that would scare the chaser away. It didn’t get to it, but I was so relieved to have this option. Thank you.

This app is a true lifesaver to keep in your pocket. Knowing I can reach 911 with just a few quick taps gives me so much peace of mind. It is essential for when I cannot safely speak out loud, especially when so much of the country still lacks reliable text-to-911 services, and this app is way better than text-to-911 also since it gives the dispatcher more information about my location and is quicker for me to tap what I need help with. A must-have app for everyone’s safety!
