### 4/5 — Great App!

*2026-08-07, version 1.4.6*

This app is super easy to set up, and works really well. It doesn’t affect performance on your device at all, and it has significantly helped me. The only thing I have a complaint about is that it is really easy to disable the monitoring. If they made this more difficult to access, the app would be near perfect!

### 4/5 — Helpful tool, best price

*2026-08-04, version 1.4.6*

I found A2Y to be a great tool to help me stay accountable and stay off porn. I think it is best used in conjunction with accountability from people at your local church. I do wish that it did take random pictures and send it to your partners like other accountability software does. It does have the best price I think of any accountability software, so I really like that!

### 4/5 — Extremely beneficial in fight against sin; a few minor discrepancies

*2026-08-04*

It’s been great to have accountability for searching on the internet. A few things, if you are on social media it likely won’t catch what you search up, or if you go and view images on safari if may not sent an alert to your partner. There is still raw honesty required with partners when using this software; but overall it does a fantastic job with catching the most obscene things.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for sharing here! We couldn't agree more about the need for honesty in an accountability relationship, and we are honored that you use Accountable2You in your journey! 🙌 Trouble with alerts not going out for Safari searches is definitely not normal, so feel free to reach out to support@accountable2you.com on this–we'd love to dig in with you.

### 2/5 — iOS problems

*2026-07-15, version 1.4.5*

iPhone App blocks data. I have this software on my Mac book and iPad and it works great. Last week I had to remove it from my iPhone because it shut down all cellular data connections and made the phone unusable. Please find a solution.

### 4/5 — Overall Good, But Makes Network Noticeably Slower

*2026-06-19*

I really like the app. I am a person who has previously struggled with pornography over many years, it really gives my wife a great sense of assurance that I’m working hard to keep my eyes pure. The only real con that I see with this app is, it does make the network connection on my phone noticeably slower. I don’t seem to have the same issue on the desktop version, but I do on the iOS version. Hoping to find a way to improve that.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for sharing your feedback—we really appreciate it! We’re so glad to hear that our app has been helpful for you. 🙂 We'd be happy to explore the connection issue you're seeing. Just send an email to support@accountable2you.com, and we'll take a closer look!

### 4/5 — Data Hog?

*2026-04-24, version 1.4.5*

The latest version chewed up 1.5GB of my data plan, which seems really high.

### 1/5 — So confusing

*2026-01-11, version 1.4.5*

We have had this app for awhile and never really figured it out. There’s no way to contact them. The help index is full of articles explaining what I can figure out on my own but no way to contact the developer.

### 4/5 — Good tool for accountability

*2025-11-08, version 1.4.5*

This is a great app and it’s helping me With accountability. I have an iPhone and a laptop with Ubuntu, and this app works on both - which is what I wanted: monitoring software that works across platforms.

False alarms are sometimes an issue.

### 1/5 — Hard to use

*2025-10-31, version 1.4.5*

The app is really hard to use so I cancelled my subscription, just for it to still charge my card. Do not get.

### 1/5 — Question

*2025-07-01, version 1.4.4*

Does this app work with Facebook? There are inappropriate pages on there and wondered if it would send alerts for that.

### 1/5 — Not Good

*2025-05-13, version 1.4.4*

I downloaded this application to help me with my porn addiction and as soon as I set it up I tested it in front of my wife and it was a mitigated disaster! I downloaded Reddit and as soon as I opened the application there was a naked woman rubbing on herself! I was mortified!
I’m going to request a full refund beyond can’t have this happening!

### 1/5 — What is Redding?

*2025-04-05, version 1.4.4*

Got flagged today for some site called Redding. I was on Reddit, but surely an app for accountability would know the difference because accuracy should be important when ratting on your clients. Anyway, there was an ad for a competing app (covenant eyes) and my accountability partners were notified that I had viewed questionable material because I had clicked “remove ad” for that. This app is a bad joke.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-07-23*

App doesn’t work or show any data within the app, instead takes you to a browser. You operate from a browser in the app? Does not block, prevent or alert of any inappropriate, trouble related content online. A child could and probably does work around this software. Absolutely useless

**Developer response:** Thanks for sharing your experience here! It sounds like you may have run into some setup trouble with our apps (we have 1 for reporting and 1 for monitoring). When you get a chance, give us a shout at support@accountable2you.com about this. We'd love the opportunity to help get things set up correctly for you! 🙂

### 1/5 — Support is lacking

*2026-07-13, version 1.4.5*

Has many instances of erroneous or incomplete data. Use caution before downloading.

### 1/5 — Great Cost Saving Measure as a Parent 💸🤑

*2026-07-05, version 1.4.5*

In addition to allowing you to view everything your teenager does regardless of if it’s something you should even be looking at, this app also has some major added benefits!

If your child already suffers from annoying bouts of depression 😞😞😞, this app can help end them permanently!

How it works is: by stripping them of their privacy 👁️ it can lower their mental health even further to the point where they seriously consider ending their own life every time you come talk to them about any of the frequent false positives this app provides! 😊👍 If your kid already has stupid made up conditions like, “Autism,” 🚂🐘💉it can work even faster! In tandem with such other parenting measures as having spanked them when they were younger and homeschooling them, this app may well cause your child to kill themselves! 🪦🕊️

When your child does kill themselves, you can expect potential yearly savings in the tens of thousands! 💸💸💸 You read that right: TENS OF THOUSANDS!!!

As a teenager who had this app on their phone against their will, I can personally attest to the results.✅✅✅ After only a few months of this app, I already have a full fledged plan to end my own life via helium asphyxiation, 🎈which can be done on any day at the bathroom of the Walmart near my home! 🏠 My mother (who I unfortunately now hate as a more negative side effect of this app 😔😢💔) can expect significant savings any day now 🥳😺🙌

### 1/5 — False reporting

*2026-06-08, version 1.4.5*

Do not use this app it makes false reports constantly!! It will show 5 different websites at once and report them!

### 1/5 — Waste of Money And Time.

*2026-05-30, version 1.4.5*

DONT GET THIS it flags Normal Things Red, Resident Evil Is Normal. But Apparently It’s VERY QUESTIONABLE.

### 1/5 — Terrible performance

*2026-05-28, version 1.4.5*

This app used to be good but over the last year it has degraded significantly. It constantly resets the vpn which blocks the internet while it is doing it. And it slows down often. They have had these performance issues without resolution and its been getting worse.

### 1/5 — Waste of money!! Only works sometimes

*2026-05-27, version 1.4.5*

Seemingly randomly, the app only tracks data when it wants to. Some days you can look at the report and see everything that happened, other days it will show one app used for one minute for the whole day. Not a very good app I would recommend trying something else.

### 1/5 — Corrupt business

*2026-03-26*

I had to use this app for 3 years because of probation conditions and during that time my camera would turn on by itself pretty often, about once every few weeks or so. And this is just the times that I caught it eavesdropping on my conversations. Also my phone would start playing music out of nowhere and this at the time were brand new phones because I thought it might be a problem with the phones or the service provider. I even switched providers. I started using the app and privacy reports to see which apps were accessing my data when I would catch my camera being used and sure enough it was accountabletoyou. It’s been over a year since I have had the software downloaded on my phone and have not had any problems with my camera turning on. You guys hide behind God and use God’s name in vain but spy on your users like a bunch of creeps. I hope this review helps others.

**Developer response:** Thanks for sharing your concerns! It isn't possible for our app to access the camera or microphone — you can confirm this by reviewing the privacy settings under Settings » Privacy & Security » Camera/Microphone. That said, feel free to reach out to support@accountable2you.com if you have any further questions about how our app works! 🙂

### 1/5 — Extremely Disappointed.

*2026-02-18*

If I could give zero stars I would. I am extremely disappointed in A2U services and response. I have been a user since October 2024 and have relied on the promised services to monitor and report ALL app usages and to browser services. However, this company does not provide that. For several months they have not reported pornographic use on my partners phone. I have paid for their service to report ALL usage of that content, and yet they failed to do so. Oh but they “report” when “secret antiperspirant” was used. I’m extremely disappointed and upset by the lackluster response I received from the company. Instead of receiving a FULL refund, I was issued only a partial. I paid for their services to report ALL usages of inappropriate content and that was not delivered. I also appreciated them using AI slop to respond to me.
I would and will never recommend this product to anybody else. Families, couples, wives, husbands, parents, if you are searching for an accountability app to use, find something different. They are unreliable and don’t deliver what services you pay for.

### 1/5 — Horrible, ineffective; Don’t waste your time.

*2026-02-06, version 1.4.5*

My partner (“recovering” PA) and I started using this app at the beginning of the month and it took me less than a week to hate it.

The only thing is flags are keywords, or when the app’s VPN is switched off- NOTHING else.
To even get somewhat accurate and useful data about how your partner is using their device, you have to go to A2U’s actual website on a search engine, and request an export of a data report in the form of an xls file.

The exported report has a TON of blind spots and pretty much is only useful for giving you the exact times they were using apps.
For example- even with screen time restrictions and this app, he was able to bypass all of that and watch a video of an OF creator on Youtube- it was explicit and NOT FLAGGED AT ALL.
A2U did not flag the explicit video, did not flag him deleting his Youtube history, and even when I viewed the “detailed” exported report- it only showed videos that he searched, not even everything he watched.
If he clicks on a video that shows up on his homepage regardless of the content rating, all you will see on the A2U report is the time and date that Youtube (for example) was used, and where the title of the video he watched should be it only says “Apple Restriction- Activity Not Recorded”.

Not to mention the accountability partner app to view what your partner is doing is not easy to read, and inaccurate. The only semi-detailed information it gives you is through the report emailed to you via request off the A2U website; as I said above that is also virtually useless and will require you to do digging anyways to get the truth.

Total waste of effort, time, and money- try literally any other app, this one is entirely useless.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Happy customer

*2026-08-03, version 1.4.6*

We’ve used this program for years in our home and have been very happy with it.

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2026-07-15, version 1.4.5*

I have personally met the creators at a Christian convention and they were the reason I switched from a competitor.

The price is just, better.

The software works, as long as you do the work. The app is easy to use. I LOVE IT.

Thank you A2U team for your commitment to men and women of God. I love you.

### 5/5 — Super easy to use

*2026-07-14, version 1.4.5*

The app only takes a few minutes to set up, and doesn’t have any noticeable effect on device performance!

### 5/5 — Helpful Customer Service

*2026-03-02, version 1.4.5*

I had a great email exchange with the customer service representative with accountable to you and they helped me very effectively and efficiently with my issue!

### 5/5 — Dial In

*2025-12-09, version 1.4.5*

Just heard about this app through Dial In Ministries by Jonny Ardavanis on YouTube. My brother in Christ was looking for an app to help him literally two days before I heard this advertised on today’s episode 12/09/25. That gained my trust immediately and for that reason I’m going to give this a shot. If the people who run this app know who those people are then I trust their character.

### 5/5 — Great product!

*2025-11-14*

Easy to install on devices, easy to use and reports are helpful and give peace of mind and security. Wish we had this as preventative software but we are thankful we can use this as a tool to help us rebuild our trust in our marriage. It’s been life changing. Would highly recommend.

**Developer response:** Super encouraging to hear how helpful the app has been for you, Annie—thanks for sharing! If you ever need anything, you can reach us at support@accountable2you.com. Feel free to check out our book https://accountable2you.com/defending-purity/ to dig deeper into Biblical purity!

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2025-08-13, version 1.4.4*

Good use it in small group

### 5/5 — Great tool and simple to use!

*2025-05-06, version 1.4.4*

Such a helpful tool!!!
This is what healthy transparency on your phone looks like. Exactly what accountability software should do!

### 5/5 — Freed from porn

*2025-03-24, version 1.4.4*

This app helped me become completely stop porn.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2025-03-21*

The bad reviews are from people who aren’t using this right. This is to allow you to not lock your phone down like Guantánamo Bay, but to
bring others in. James 5:16 says to 1. Confess 2. Thats the prayers of a righteous person (believer) has great power and healing. Bringing others into this fight is the only way. Freedom is only found in the walls. Outside the walls/flock is death.
“If dependence is the goal, then weakness is the advantage.” - Jonathan Pokluda

Guys, get weak with this app. 2 Cor 12:9-10.

**Developer response:** Love the scripture references, Seth! Thanks so much for your encouragement here. 🙌
