My CineView and Accsoon iPad software darken the image coming from the camera by a full stop. Plz fix this and I’ll give 5 stars. The cineEye Air transmits an accurate image and it’s the oldest model. One major problem is every time the app is restarted the display color option defaults back to ‘limited range’. We are using Sony cameras so ‘full range’ color needs to be selected every time to show an accurate image. So, when the subject in front of the camera moves right, they see themselves moving left instead. There’s a reason a camera with flip screen mirrors the display when it is fully flipped out. Here’s to hoping for an update. ### 2/5 — Add CineEye 2S *2021-04-14, version 1.4.9* You need to add CineEye 2S in the scrolling menu guys. It isn’t there. I can’t connect the app to my device. I also have the original CineEye which works fine. But I was not expecting a basic issue like this. I tried many times but it doesn't appear. ### 3/5 — On the right track *2021-01-01, version 1.4.5* The provided tools make it easier to see and pull focus as the picture is sharp. I haven’t had any connection issues once everything is up and running. A requested feature would be to add more ratios for framing under markers as this can be used for both pictures and video work. Most cameras don’t have all the ratios of the most popular social media standards such as 4:5 for portraits for instagram. Adding these ratios will help a lot. If you can add the ability to have custom ratios you can future proof this product. It will allow you to use any camera to get the framing right from the beginning which makes things much easier. This can be an added value to any setup and can help those out with mixed setups tremendously. Really fast latency, no delay that I could tell. I couldn’t get the in app recording to send the videos to my camera app but I wouldn’t use that on set much anyways. Overall a stable of my camera rig. ### 5/5 — Love the CineEye and the app *2019-11-26, version 1.3.0* I am a sound recordist in TV and Film and this is a complete game changer, not only for me but the ability of connecting to multiple units has really helped and impressed other crew, I have been on shoots where the director, gaffer and myself are all connected to the CineEye with next to 0 latency. I have it connected to an iPhone in my mixer bag so I can check frame and look out for any issues when it comes to work. I can’t praise it enough and loads of people I have worked with have gone out and bought one themselves.
