### 2/5 — Nothing Profound

*2026-02-17*

This app is a compilation of many ACCUPLACER tests from the ACCUPLACER website. You really only get more by paying to upgrade and get explanations to answers. Should you like that free, copy the prompts into AI and it’ll explain for you. Addditonally, you’ll avoid the coding errors within this app.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. Our PRO version provides advanced features beyond explanations, including detailed answer analysis, adaptive practice, performance tracking, and structured study support designed specifically for ACCUPLACER preparation. We’re continuously improving the app’s stability, and if you’ve experienced any technical issues, please contact us so we can fix them quickly.

### 3/5 — Meh

*2025-03-03*

It's a good app but I feel like we shouldn't have to pay money to see an explanation because we don't know it. My test is tomorrow and I'm stressing out so much and I don't know the answers I just guess.

**Developer response:** We are so sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our app. However, we do not claim that our app is free - it is a paid service with optional in-app purchases for additional content and features. As an app developer, we strive to strike a balance between providing a valuable service and generating revenue to cover our operational costs. Users who do not wish to subscribe can still access the app's core features, including practicing questions, with ads. Thank you for your understanding!

I would give more but you have to pay to get the explanation

### 4/5 — Great app

*2025-01-09, version 3.10.2*

Great app but per usual you have to pay to see how they get the correct answer,

### 4/5 — ok

Ig it good idk

### 4/5 — Good app

*2024-10-18*

It’s good other than you need to pay for the explanation. I understand that the company needs to make money but I feel the price is a little unnecessary

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback about our app. We apologize for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction you may have experienced. As an app developer, we strive to strike a balance between providing a valuable service and generating revenue to cover our operational costs. Hope you will understand.

### 4/5 — Yes

*2024-08-27*

This has helped tremendously, easy to understand but you do have to pay to read your explanations..

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, but we need revenue from subscriptions in order to accommodate various factors, including the costs associated with app development, ongoing maintenance, and providing customer support. Thanks for your understanding!

### 5/5 — Fire

*2024-06-08, version 3.9.6*

Fire app

### 2/5 — Not Terrible, Not Great

*2024-04-09*

The real exam questions were fairly similar to what was in the app so that was a plus, but otherwise I found a lot of negatives in the app. The math portion it gives you a lot of the formulas in the practice, but in the actual exam you have to know the formulas. I was also annoyed by the English portion how the questions for each piece was scattered all over, thankfully the actual exam all the question pertaining to one article were grouped together. I also feel like it would be more helpful if you miss a question to have it come back in a different form. Even if it’s just different numbers. The point is to learn the material, not memorize an answer.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about our app. We have noted down your suggestions and we will try to incoperate them in the future versions of our app if possible.

### 3/5 — Good but politically biased

*2024-03-09*

The app so far seems to be helping me prepare but there are several political topics discussed in the reading and writing sections that are very biased. It would be better if they stayed away from such topics or were at the very least neutral.

**Developer response:** We are so sorry for this. Could you please use our in-app "Report Mistakes" function to help us identify the questions with this problem and review them? It would be of great help! Thank you so much!

### 5/5 — Learning a lot

*2024-03-05, version 3.9.2*

Best learning app

### 5/5 — fun and easy to use

*2024-01-02*

The repetition in this app is a great way to gain confidence as you learn.

### 4/5 — Study

*2023-12-29, version 3.8.7*

Great study tool. Lots of ads but honestly don’t mind when it’s helping me get closer to my goal

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — DONT USE

*2025-12-03, version 4.4.6*

this app made me feel so dumb…until I realized that many of the “correct” answers were straight up false.

### 1/5 — Ridiculous to have paywalls and ads.

*2025-01-22, version 3.10.2*

On a school required app??? How greedy and pathetic. Do better.

### 1/5 — Gross

*2024-07-24, version 3.9.8*

Garbage

### 1/5 — Doesn’t help you study

*2024-07-18, version 3.9.8*

What kind of exam study guide doesn’t give explanations to your answers. If I have to pay for the explanation do NOT make the app free. Horribly misleading and not worth it. They still use ads, so it’s a cheap excuse for a money grab

### 1/5 — It’s not that good

*2024-06-02, version 3.9.6*

You can study just fine but it won’t tell you how to improve without spending money. If you get one wrong it won’t explain why. You basically need money to study and actually pass the test.

### 1/5 — I still don’t understand the explanations

*2024-04-29*

I paid money to have the explanations of the problems available to me but I don’t even understand them. It tells me what to do but not why I’m doing it. I’m totally lost for what to study and I don’t even know the names of the concepts so I can study them farther outside of the app.

**Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the difficulties you have been facing in understanding the explanations provided for the problems in our app. We apologize for any confusion or frustration this may have caused you, and we are committed to addressing your concerns. To better assist you and provide more detailed explanations, we recommend utilizing our "Report Mistakes" function. This feature allows you to submit specific questions or concerns about the explanations provided, enabling us to review them thoroughly. Our team will carefully assess your feedback and make the necessary improvements to enhance the clarity and comprehensiveness of our explanations. We genuinely appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve your experience with our app. Our ultimate aim is to ensure that you have a smooth, enriching learning experience in which you feel confident and well-informed.

### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY A SUBSCRIPTION OR THE PRO

*2024-03-25*

There is not a clear way to cancel. I was charged another month for the pro subscription, I’m pretty sure that I hadn’t had the app a full a month. Regardless, this app is NOT associated with the college prep Accuplacer. It asks the same questions over and over (even with the pro version). I’ve also found a lot of errors. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

**Developer response:** Hi, firstly, you can definitely cancel your subscription through Apple. And if you do not cancel it before the next cycle, you will be charged for the next cycle automatically. That's how subscriptions work. Secondly, the questions are not repetitive. It's our feature to force users to get back to the questions that they get wrong last time in order to improve memory retention. Thanks for your understanding!

### 1/5 — Lost if you don’t know anything

*2023-06-20, version 3.4.5*

Literally don’t know any of this. It doesn’t explain things thuroughly enough to understand. Specifically math stuff. The description describes it to people who understand algebra lingo.

### 1/5 — doesnt go into enough detail

*2023-02-09, version 3.4.5*

its hard to know what math problems you need to focus on when it doesnt even say the name of the equation in the description when you get it wrong. lots of questions will also show the equation and not explain why there is a certain number put there. makes it very confusing.

### 1/5 — Terrible!

*2022-10-19*

I must be missing something. I don’t understand how this app has gotten so many 5 star reviews. The reading and writing sections are ripe with grammar and spelling errors. And not in the passages you’re supposed to correct, in the directions. For example: What part of the underlined portion if sentence 8 provides the most effective conclusion to the passage? “if sentence…” Shouldn’t an app that’s supposed to be teaching grammar lead by example? Not only that, it says “underlined portion”, yet no portion of the passage is underlined anywhere.

It’s not just grammar and spelling errors either, the passages you’re supposed to correct are impossible to accurately parse. In the same question, the passage they ask about is this: “Ideally, everyone would buy in to the process, but if doctors can figure out a way to give children of anti-vaccination parents, vaccinations will still do their job.” Give children of anti-vaccination parents what? It’s an incomplete thought. Mind you, there is no option to correct the missing information. This was the sentence the app chose as the best concluding sentence for the passage. It’s not just a one-off either. I’ve found mistakes like this in almost every question. I sincerely hope that this is not a true representation of the actual Accuplacer test.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your very detailed feedback and we are so sorry that you are not satisfied with our app. We have checked all the problems you mentioned and fixed them. We hope that you will give our app one more chance.
