Thing is, the game crashes whenever I attempt to open the costume menu. It was fun and the music is catchy. However, there is one bug in the DLC, After completing Turnabout Reclaimed, you get access to Phoenix’s Nostalgic Sweater in the costume menu, but after I got it, I was unable to go back into the costume menu. Basically every time you go on the app, only a part of the display is shown like it’s cut or something. The rest of the screen is pitch black and doesn’t have touch sensibility. (I’m an adult and I can play my game 17 more times after the screen time alert if I want :p) - costumes DLC won’t load & it crashes the game. This one worked perfectly and I had zero issues with anything, until I finished the DLC case and unlocked a costume. The game crashes every time I try to access the costumes menu. Luckily, I didn’t buy the costumes DLC anyway because I didn’t really care to, so I recommend not bothering with that. The rest of the game is totally fine! If it matters, I played this on a 7th generation iPad (10.5), fully updated to 14.7. ### 5/5 — Very strong entry to the Ace Attorney series. *2021-08-22, version 1.00.08* This game really made me feel like I was truly there and truly helping the characters get through some major hardships to succeed in their career in law. None of the cases felt like an incredible amount of filler, they just provided a break from the really heavy over-arching plot of the game. The best aspects of this game was definitely the fourth and fifth cases, as they led on from each other directly and really allowed the player to feel like they had a massive mystery to solve. My only complaint would be the fact that three attorneys (and playable characters) may prove to be a challenge to handle in future games; some characters may have less screen time. Obviously since Athena Cykes was the new defense attorney at the Wright Anything Agency, there was lots of screen time for her, but in later games how will the balance be maintained? I definitely recommend buying this game if you’re a fan of the Ace Attorney series. If you’re starting with this game, that isn’t a problem, you just may feel like some characters aren’t given enough screen time or don’t prove to be significant. I 100% recommend playing from the first game onwards, as you get the most out of the story. ### 4/5 — Verschlechterte Grafik, jedoch gute Story *2021-05-26* Damals spielte ich das Spiel für das iPhone 6 und die Grafik sah für diese Verhältnisse ziemlich gut aus. Jedoch nach einem Update verschlechterte sich die Grafik (vielleicht durch eine unscharfe Skalierung). Ich besitze nun ein iPhone XR und es ist noch unscharf. But once you get the game you won’t get a refund if it doesn’t work so save your money for something better than this. ### 1/5 — Bad updates *2021-05-17, version 1.00.08* 1.00.08 is just as garbage as 1.00.07 in the exact same ways. They fixed nothing. Don't bother updating. (This is easily the worst game in the series, anyway, so you won't miss anything by skipping it.) - Old review: If you’re still running v1.00.06 or earlier DON’T install v1.00.07. What a rip off. I purchased this game and still have access to it on my IPhone XS Max but my current phone, the iPhone 12 Pro, is where I want to continue my journey with Phoenix Wright. I’ve been playing this game since I owned a Nintendo DS. Capcom and Apple are nickel and dimeing me for something I’ve already rightfully paid for. I bought the main story set for $23 but I can’t access the content at all no matter how many times I restored my purchases. I tried appealing this to apple but for some unknown reason, they would not acknowledge the problem and denied me of a refund. I am very disappointed in apple and capcom.
