It wants you to pay to look for jobs. As soon as I saw “free trial” I deleted that ish **Developer response:** Hi Gfysbah, thanks for the feedback, totally understand your frustration. The subscription covers the cost of actually automating your job applications: Ace fills out all the forms and applies for you on company websites, tailoring your resume and cover letter to each role. Think of it less as a job board and more as an agent doing the applying on your behalf. The free trial lets you experience all of that with no charge upfront. Sorry it wasn't clearer before you hit the paywall, we're working on it. ### 2/5 — Least Effective Way To Job Search *2026-07-09* 99% of the jobs it listed for you is not going to be relevant. The swiping of jobs to accept or decline is endless and time consuming. The AI making the resume LIES and gets numbers all mixed up. And you will find job listings that are fake, or you have to apply manually anyways (despite it promises to apply for you), and gives employer an email that won’t go directly to you and your whole setup gets messed up. **Developer response:** Hi 932XB, thanks for the detailed feedback, it's very helpful to point us at what to improve. A few things to unpack: Job relevance and resume accuracy are the core of our focus right now. We're actively improving both job matching and the accuracy of generated content and plan to release changes next week. We hope that more personalized job matches will make swiping more productive and less time consuming. On listings that turn out to be fake or require manual application: we pull millions jobs from a large range of sources and some slip through with bad data or apply flows that don't allow automation, we're working on tightening that coverage and finding the best balance between finding a high volume of jobs while adding more personalization and reliability. Lastly, the email Ace sets up for you allows us to create accounts on job websites to submit applications on your behalf even when they require login or email verification. But your point is more than valid, we'll add an option to forward all emails to your personal email as well. Some apps have a discreet "skip subscription" option with limited functionality, but this one does not; I thought it would based on a response to another users review. They must have a robot managing the review responses so I would not assume they "are working on it" like they claim, which is why I am posting the prices here for them since they are unable to do so. ### 5/5 — The best job search app I've tried *2026-09-01* It works! The team is also incredibly responsive; bugs get fixed fast and new improvements ship constantly.
