Support has been great. Feature wise, the app is great. I’m able to do a lot from moving money, to managing my virtual cards. Looks like the developers keep building on it and adding useful features. With that said, I’m never excited to actually use the app. The load time across the board is astronomical. The app has the longest launch time compared to any other app on my phone. Going from one page to another always takes long to load. I most often end up given up and closing the app, then use the browser version. The functionality of the app needs a lot of work. The developers should invest resources to make the app snappier. That’s the only thing that’s missing. ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2022-06-29, version 6.2* I have had Ace Elite for many years and everything was fine until a few years ago. I have contemplated switching to another bank but the only thing that was stopping me was that everything worked fine and I have a lot of bills automatically set up to be taken from that account. It’s work to switch all that over but I’m really considering it now because 1. the mobile check load doesn’t seem to work any more and there are no physical locations close to me to go in person so I always have to cash checks through a different bank and can’t deposit them unless I drive to another city. 2. You can’t go into your online account and change important information on your own as if people don’t move. 3. Whenever I do reach out for this company to update my information they are slow to do it and then each and every time they fix one thing then misspell my first name after the update making have to reach out AGAIN for them to correct that. I thought it was protocol for banks to double check spellings and other details before finalizing transactions. Better attention needs to be paid to what they’re doing and the app needs to be fixed so that the feature for mobile check load can actually be used. Because of this I think it’s time for me to leave this bank and bank with a more efficient company. ### 2/5 — App stopped working *2020-08-12, version 5.7* I’ve been using this app for over 3 years and and jus stopped working over a month. When I click on the block to take image, there is just a black screen with an outline in it. Ive never had an issue up until it comes to customer support. On multiple occasions i would send money to my sister in law on facebook and the money would get taken out of my account. Only for the payment to stay pending for months or get cancled outright. But i never get the money back... ive sent multiple dispute clams only for them to deem nothing went wrong with the payment despite all the screen shots and emails providing clear evidence that my payments were cancled and the money did not return. After contacting support and stressing my opinion on how shady that is considering it says no fees they decided to put my money back and then proceeded to lock my account as of today December 16, 2021 the problem has not been solved and my account is still locked. I have decided to eat the money lost and leave this review for the second time this month because they decided to delete it not even a week ago if you don’t like what I have to say then please fix your policy and don’t lie to your customer. ### 1/5 — Mobile Check Load failure !! *2020-08-09, version 5.7* I’ve had this app only a week and i barely got my official card - though I’m not worried about the timing of when I got the card - what has me bugging is how the Mobile Check Load fails every single time ! I’ve not been able to load my card for some odd reason and somehow this app is bugged and is very long overdue for an update to fix this bug ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2018-07-10, version 4.10* The mobile check cashing feature is a complete joke. I took multiple photos of my check that wouldn’t be accepted because it didn’t meet “quality standards”, just to get to the review stage of the process had to start taking photos of my checks using my phone upside lol even then my checks were never accepted. Just a complete waste of time. ### 1/5 — Not working *2018-05-23, version 4.10* I was able to log in one time and after that it tells me “this is a netspend Account” and to download a whole other app. And I can’t even log into that one. I always pay the monthly fee that way I don’t have to pay a dollar for each time I use it thoroughly enjoyed using it because I even transferred money to it, from my bank card, as my way of buying things online and hopefully leaving just a little bit left. If somebody hacks it, they only get a Coke and a bag of chips at best.
