What a disappointment. Maybe start asking your certified pros what they’d like in an app and go from there? ### 2/5 — Why can’t I just load the textbooks into iBooks? *2021-06-29, version 17.1* This app is not user friendly at all for navigating a textbook. Why can’t they just give us a .pdf or iBooks friendly version? ### 2/5 — I think is better the version print it out *2021-02-01, version 17.1* the person who developed this format did so thinking about past centuries. The last page you read is not registered; If you use it on your phone and then the ipad the same information is not recorded. if you use the glossary it takes you to the last and does not allow you to return to where you were. the study format is not easy to handle. to study it is not easy to highlight and make notes and if you have to search on internet it does not have direct access. In general is a bad app developed ### 1/5 — Signing in *2018-06-27, version 16.5* I used my email and password to sign in on the website but when I use it for the app it’s telling me it’s incorrect ### 2/5 — Text format not functioning *2018-03-14, version 16.1* If you go to the help button one of the menu items says that you can choose to have a text only version of the book, which eliminateses graphics. This function makes it much easier to read on a mobile device. Unfortunately This function does not actually work. Because I am legally blind having this functionality working properly would make my life infinitely easier when trying to complete this course. ### 1/5 — Book deleted *2018-02-03, version 16.1* This app worked fairly well for several months however one day my Health Coaching book, which i paid for, disappeared. I have been trying for a week to get help from ACE online however they don’t seem to have the answers. I really liked the app because trying to read the book through the website is difficult. Please fix whatever this is, I really need my book to finish in time for my exam!! ### 1/5 — Ebook *2015-08-18, version 13.14* Bought ebook and all my highlights, notes, and bookmarks deleted. Though I have verified my username and password, it keeps telling me it’s incorrect. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 4/5 — Decent App/Complicated Setup *2017-06-11, version 15.1* This app is actually pretty good. I read the other reviews and was skeptical but after you download the app in the upper right there is a login button I think a lot of people missed. If you paid for an ACE program then just use the login you would for their site (not your Apple ID--which is clearly stated) and you get the downloadable ebook versions of whatever you paid for with your original order. On top of that, when looking at the ebook (after logging in and then actually downloading it), you can bookmark pages, highlight, and write notes on the book then save it so as far as a study companion goes it's pretty handy... You cant access any of the other online video resources or practice tests via the app but it does enough that I can study on the go (and take decent notes) so 4 stars. ### 3/5 — Update *2025-11-14, version 18.3* The format seems very old and needs to be updated for ease of use ### 3/5 — Can’t access my ebook *2024-02-04, version 18.2* It doesn’t work with my MacBook. It would be great if the app offered a more comprehensive selection of books, including domain-specific books and articles for current studies. Additionally, incorporating audiobooks would be extremely helpful for individuals who can't read visually.
