You can tell that some care has gone into the making of the app. As an ace person, it is so hard to find other people in the community, and so I was overjoyed to hear of this app, an app where I can potentially talk to ace people from all over the world. But the app is super buggy and dysfunctional, which makes it frustrating to use. First of all, as a trans person, I really wish there was an option to easily choose and display our pronouns in our user profiles. Second of all, the app tends to randomly close and kicks me out to the home screen of my phone often. Most concerningly, I am unable to access this app’s help and support/ feedback pages, so I haven’t been able to reach tech support or voice any of my concerns to them. Another note is that I’ve been getting a lot of spam bots on this app messaging me and asking to be my sugar daddy. I usually hit the block and report feature, but I’m not sure if these reports are being followed up on. ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2023-12-27, version 3.1* I can’t tell if this is a dating app or not, the way it’s laid out is really hard to navigate, and it is very hard to tell if you actually liked the person or not, especially if you aren’t in the swipe mode. ### 1/5 — Can’t even sign up *2023-12-12, version 3.1* Well I TRIED to use the app but every time I hit something on the sign up process I’d get an error message. It would also tell me there was a new update every time, but LO and behold there’s nothing in the App Store. I’m sure some silly glitch is causing this but still not a great first impression. ### 2/5 — Logged Me Out, Can't Log Back In *2023-08-29, version 3.1* Previous review: To be honest, I'm really glad this app isn't trying to be corprately perfect. So many cool people here and it's got a wholesome we're-all-figuring-this-out-together vibe. So fun! I have no fears talking to these folks and wish I could get to know everyone. It's just got the right crowd. Update: The app often says "update required" even if you've just downloaded or just updated it. You can say "update later" and move on. The proplem is, the app logged me out randomly. Now, I can't log back in. It lets me select my apple id, but then it starts creating a new account. Username taken. Thanks to developer, response is very quick ### 5/5 — it's a start *2020-11-20* i spent about 15 minutes which was enough time to figure out that this app is just okay. it's nice to have something for Ace people but this app didn't really do it how i hoped it could. i didn't find a single person within 100 miles of me, kinda sad since i live in California. would've expected more. so i'm let down about that. also it was hard finding people within 5 years of my age range. i was also disappointed that we can only have 1 profile picture, and that the app shrinks the photo and lowers the resolution so they sometimes look blurry. lot of work could be done to improve the app. it's a step in the right direction though. **Developer response:** Thanks for Your feedback and idea. The problems that other reviewers reported are mostly already fixed since. I like that this app can get you more involved with the ace community since it’s free to talk to other aces. Other ace sites ask for your money to chat other aces 🙄 so that kinda defeats the purpose of meeting ace lol.
