## What is Acerra Castle?

The mobile app dedicated to the city of Acerra and its Castello dei Conti di Acerra has been created to guide visitors in discovering the city’s history, its layers, and its key sites.

Within the app, you will find several itineraries: the first will take you to explore various Points of Interest throughout the city, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of its urban fabric.
The other two itineraries focus on the Castle, showing both the history of its foundation and architecture, as well as the multimedia installations that make up the new interactive and immersive route-blending history, archaeology, folklore, and music.

Finally, the app lets you carry the Virtual Tour of the Castle’s exhibitions with you, so you can relive your visit anytime you wish.

The itinerary highlights ancient artifacts, urban organization, and necropolises, with a focus on early agricultural villages and the city of Suessula. The Virtual Tour of this museum section is also available, allowing you to relive the visit anytime.
