I have been a long time fan of this game. The animations are great. I used to play it almost daily, but I have now begun leaving before the end of the game, because it is interrupted so often with annoying and seemingly interminable ads which they began adding recently. 
I shall begin to look for another game of hearts, which is not so frustrating.

I have this version if Hearts for many years… However it’s time to delete it and find a new version. 

I totally understand that ad’s pay the bills, however after every hand for several screens and then taken to the app store is way too much!!!

I’m not sure if this developer has abandoned this version of Hearts but it was the best animation of characters!  I used to love to play it all the time, but for some reason it kept on freezing.  I hope the developer has not abandoned this game because it was to good to abandon.

Edit 5/2/21:
Obviously, the developer(s) have abandoned this addictive game, BUT, if they do revisit reviews, I’d like to see an update to the algorithm:
1) When I’m obviously “running” the game, other computer players automatically dump all their high hearts. That would never happen with all humans playing.
2) When playing the Jack of Diamond version (my favorite), adjust the algorithm with the computer opponents not to give up the Jack when they have other diamonds in their hand.

If the developer can fix those items above, this would be the most enjoyable card game in the store - imho.

I was forced to re-purchase this latest version to get rid of the ads even though I paid for the app several years ago. The animation is choppy and I can barely see the differences between hearts and diamonds (spades & clubs) because of the new tiny image size on the card faces. I do like that you can see the current score of each player during play. This was my favorite go to game - previous version was very professionally built and seemed to be pretty challenging yet predictable play (please make it more difficult!). The ads are EXTREMELY obnoxious so pay up to really get full enjoyment out of this classic game...

Like their Spades, a great game on my old iPhone6. Neither function on my new iPhone 12 mini- despite the claim made here. Formatting of game is incorrect: essential elements are off the frame; and scoring is occasionally but bizarrely incorrect.

The interface earlier was awesome.. now it’s all distorted. Cards are too big and the finesse is gone. Very disappointing.

Excellent graphics, solid play, nice, unobtrusive animations, BUT they don’t properly support iPhones with notches and Home Indicators.  Those literally came out more than two years ago, and there are still UI elements that are hidden behind the notch. The developer should be aware of this and needs to implement the UIKit Safe Areas from Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.

Only thing I'd change game-wise would be to add more rules variants.

The restore button does not work at all. Sent feedback but never fix. I love this game but developer is horrible and does not care after you paid them.

### 2/5 — The best Hearts game until one has to buy it again

I really think this was the best Hearts game for the iPhone but when I upgraded phones there appears a long advertisement after every hand. I tried the “restore purchases” but that didn’t work so now it’s unplayable. 

Most Hearts games are really rigged, dumping the queen on you as the other players work as a team. It doesn’t feel real. This one did feel real most of the time but I’m not buying it again or playing it.

I purchased the ap over a year ago. When I added it to my iPhone, the ads were there and won’t go away. I purchased the ad free version. The ads are very obnoxious &persistent.

This is worse than your old version, your old version froze a lot, this one even more so.
What happened to all the negative reviews regarding your new system?
AFTER EVERY HAND THERE IS AN ADVERTISEMENT. I JUST DELETED YOUR GAME. You may have one of the better ones
On the market but it isn't worth.

I purchased this app sometime ago and it’s quite enjoyable, but for some reason it started playing ads after each hand even though it’s a paid version. It’s acting like the free version with ads, so I regret having paid for it. My advice to anyone considering purchasing it is don’t; just use the free one because you’ll end up with ads anyway. I just threw money away.

In Nov 2015 I purchased z Aces Hearts HD for $3.49.  App stopped working so developer told me to get the free version of Aces Hearts for iPad.  Now to get rid of ads I have to
purchase again.  Concrete software won’t reimburse or transfer initial purchase.  Feel like I’m being held hostage...

Can you guarantee it won’t happen again if I pay to remove the ads from this non HD version?

After trying most of the Hearts card games in the App Store, Aces Hearts ended up being my favorite and the one I've been enjoying for years now. It has the smoothest animation, game flow and by far the best designed controls of all the Hearts games I've tried. It's the only one that offers the exact card animation speed that I prefer. Also,you can tap to skip animations when you want to speed things up. No other game I tried can do that. The UX is so nice, most other Hearts games feel amateurish by comparison. Also, I haven't had any login or other technical problems in years. I came here to leave a 5-star review in appreciation and was shocked to find I had left a harsh 2-star review many years ago and forgot about it. The two highlighted Store reviews are out-of-date (one of them is 4 years old). Yes, the game engine could be improved in a couple places—such as opponents giving up their high hearts too quickly on the hardest mode when it should be obvious you're making a run to shoot the moon. For me, the next hardest mode below that can often be harder to beat. None of the games I've tried have been perfect when it comes to emulating human players of various skill levels. Nevertheless, Aces Hearts is one of the best.

I had issues (download problem; Remove Ads on multiple devices) integrating the new Hearts App on iOS 11 systems devices. Concrete Software support was quick to respond and resolve these issues. Kudos! As to the game itself, it is excellent. One of the best.
