Sure the partner sometimes plays frustrating cards but that’s nothing compared to the ads. They are very painful, even punitive. (your partner) consistently pulls trump…this depletes your spade supply and limits your ability to fulfill your bid and 2) your are consistently dealt between 2-3 spades each round…and this is further frustrated by the fact that you are dealt the same amount of face cards…and those are usually Jacks and Queens. Recently I noticed my iPad getting hot while playing the game. Last game played my iPad went black and never turned on even with forced start as directed by APPLE. I used to think it was the best spades game in the App Store. It bothered me when I used to have to watch an ad after each game. But I understand the makers have to make money. Don’t upgrade! ### 1/5 — Prefer the older version better… *2024-09-01, version 3.12.0* I have this game on a 10 year old game phone that I still have, and still play, (I never got the forced update, and I’m not complaining!), it’s so old I can’t even tell you what version Motorola it is… and I prefer that version to this updated version I downloaded on my iPhone 12… There’s no more passing cards during blind nil, there’s no more game variations, like whiz and mirror… and the opponents and your partner/opponants still play like they’re 5 years old, bidding 1 trick when they have the Ace, king and queen of spades, or nil when they have the queen of spades! Who does that?! They take bags like it’s their job… but the most annoying thing is the minute long ads between rounds… I had to delete it. Poor graphics. You can’t even get the final game score without watching an ad. Latest update = changes to blind nil…you can’t pass cards. Very disappointing.
