### 1/5 — Horrible 2FA

*2025-06-13, version 3.2*

Guys... please make it easier for me to log my cases. What happened to the good old days when I could just open an app, type in some info and call it a day.

### 1/5 — ACGME wasting all of our time

*2025-05-29*

Nothing more needs to be said about the 2FA debacle. This doesn’t work with the built-in password manager, and what’s worse you can’t paste into the password field.

### 1/5 — ACGME app is completely broken

*2025-05-25, version 3.2*

This app is completely broken, as users like myself who are able to login to the ACGME Case Logs account via desktop browser without issue are unable to login to the official app provided directly by the ACGME for the exact same purpose. This bug has been reproduced by 100% of my colleagues. **App Store reviewers should pull this app from the App Store, as it fails to fulfill the minimum functionality requirement.**

### 1/5 — Worst update ever

*2025-05-10, version 3.2*

Ever since the updated multifactor authentication I have gotten behind on my case logs. As a resident with little to no free time this is horrible! Please fix asap!!!

### 1/5 — If I could give it 0, I would

*2025-05-05, version 3.2*

Absolutely awful app. Does not properly fit the screen. Incredibly difficult to use and the opposite of intuitive. You will click something to type and then the app will not let you type anything. I could go on and on.

### 1/5 — Used to be a good app. Now horrible with 2fa

*2025-05-02, version 3.2*

This app used to be amazing. Could log my cases throughout residency as I went. Now it forces you to do a 2fa every time you log in. It should just use Face ID or something. At least make it via text and not email if you’re going to force 2fa. Please fix this

### 1/5 — Somehow made a bad app worse

*2025-04-28, version 3.2*

For some asinine reason, these idiots decided to make a horribly “working” app even worse by requiring 2FA every time you log in which takes forever and if you click the wrong button or god forbid back out of the app to get the code it makes you repeat the entire process. I didn’t think I could hate this glitchy app more but the morons at acgme sure proved me wrong. The only thing this is gonna do is cause case logging to fall off a cliff cause no one wants to go through this headache just to log something.

### 1/5 — The new log in set up is terrible

*2025-04-22, version 3.2*

Since the start of the 2 factor authentication it became very painful to log in, the app used to stay signed in now it kicks you out after some time and you have to log in back and get a verification code sent to your email. Please consider an option of staying logged in or at least using FaceID

### 1/5 — Very disappointing

*2025-04-20, version 3.2*

Takes so long for 2 factor verification and log on, too much time waste, and very poor design. Please work on making easier sign on.

### 1/5 — Newest Update Needs Revision

*2025-04-18, version 3.2*

With this new update, it takes multiple steps including logging into my email every single time I want to use the app. It logs me out every time and it’s very annoying. The log in itself is requiring significant more time than logging my cases takes.

### 1/5 — Update is trash

*2025-04-16, version 3.2*

Ever since they updated the app to single sign on it is virtually unusable. This is inexcusable in 2025 when a 12 year old could code a better working app in 20 minutes using ChatGPT.

### 1/5 — Update lost key convenience features

*2025-04-15, version 3.2*

Since the most recent update, the app requires email verification and automatically logs you out when you close the app. While I appreciate the interest in added security, the app should be configurable to recognize trusted devices for a month at a time like even banking and credit card apps do, and like this app used to do. The app is essentially unusable until this login process is simplified.

### 1/5 — Needs an update for two factor

*2025-04-15, version 3.2*

This app used to work great, the transition to the ACGME cloud and two factor identification has ruined the utility of the application. I will be back to using the computer until this app receives an update that allows you to remain signed in or adds a passkey like feature to make logging in simpler.

### 1/5 — Post update

*2025-04-15, version 3.2*

This app was already glitchy and poorly accessible. This horrible update somehow made a poorly run system even worse. This shouldnt be a surprise as this is the gold standard for training to deliberately make roadblocks for doctors to log cases, crucial to training. Sad and unbelievable.

### 1/5 — Not functional at all

*2025-04-14, version 3.2*

Takes an eternity to enter cases on your phone. The two factor also is delayed bc it goes to email and not phone number. Lots of glitches with entering data

### 1/5 — Update has ruined app

*2025-04-13, version 3.2*

The new update is Terrible. Frustrating app. Will do everything possible to get my program to stop using this.

### 1/5 — New Update

*2025-04-13, version 3.2*

Congrats… you’ve made an app that was already terrible… now unusable!

### 1/5 — Horrible app, now even worse

*2025-04-11, version 3.2*

This app was awful to begin with, requiring closing the app and relaunching multiple times a day. But at least before you didn’t need to log in every time because there was an option to stay logged in for 30 days. Now with the cloud “update”, it is even worse because there is no option for 30 day login and it often requires two factor authentication with a code sent to email. Results in a huge amount of wasted time every day for something that is supposed to make for life easier.

### 1/5 — I’ve used this app for 3 years without complaint until this recent update.

*2025-04-09, version 3.2*

Ever since the new update that requires 2 factor authentication, it (not exaggerating ) takes 10 whole minutes to log in to the case log system. That’s 10 whole minutes of uninterrupted phone time. If the screen locks, gotta start over. If I need to respond to a call , gotta start over. I understand the need to up security with 2 factor authentication, but this is not it, especially if other apps are able to do it without this unnecessary burden

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2026-02-11, version 3.2*

Crashes every single time the app opens.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-02-10, version 3.2*

Half the time I open the app it crashes just after hitting “sign in”. You would think the ACGME would make a little effort and spend some money making an app that’s is supposed to be designed to make a mandatory operation work properly. Beyond the constant crashes, the app itself is janky on iPhones. Fix this app!

### 1/5 — App shuts down every time I open

*2026-02-10, version 3.2*

Does not work anymore. After the initial sign in screen I click sign in and it shuts down

### 1/5 — Immediate crash

*2026-02-03, version 3.2*

Used to work well but recent as soon as I click sign in the app crashes

### 1/5 — ACGME wasting all of our time

*2026-01-30, version 3.2*

This organization couldn’t possibly express its hatred for residents any more clearly than by keeping this app so terrible.

### 1/5 — Crashes on sign-in

*2026-01-28, version 3.2*

Unusable (iPhone 17 ios26, fresh install). Crashes on sign in. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-01-03, version 3.2*

Bare minimum login UI astronomically worse since v3.2 update as display will resize, it is not appropriately dynamic to screen size, tapping text field will jump out of the text field which makes logging in virtually impossible and never streamlined. Unable to save username/password data or pull from saved passwords on phone for fast and easy login. Search function for procedures, etc. has always been unusable. This app wastes a lot of time. Would be embarrassed to publish this as a developer. Note, I never leave reviews unless there’s something terribly wrong and disappointing. It is unfortunate that I need to leave this scathing review.

### 1/5 — Good idea, terrible execution

*2025-12-12, version 3.2*

Incredibly slow to log my anesthetic cases. Doesn’t save options, since the update, the app crashes when I try to log in. Honestly not worth the effort

### 1/5 — It doesn’t work

*2025-11-22, version 3.2*

Click login button and app closes. Pls fix

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-07-21, version 3.2*

Why is it so hard to place cases on this terrible application? It has been this way for years. 0 stars

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Can you update to remember my login

*2019-06-03, version 1.0*

Hi - can you add an update so the app will remember my login info when I open it? Thank you!

### 4/5 — Great Potential; please update

*2019-11-04, version 2.0*

Big issue, especially among juniors, is prompt case logs. As surgeons, we are always pressed for time. Often hard to remember to log cases immediately after, as that time may be devoted to patient care or other house keeping issues. Cases can go unclogged for days, weeks, or forgotten completely. Before this app, I actually made a home button to take me directly to the log web page, but it was not ideal. For some reason the mobile version of the site was hit/miss.

This app worked like a charm at first but recently I ran into some UI issues, similar to the issues when accessing the website from phone. The most frustrating being unable to scroll to the bottom to click submit after filling out all the information. The drop down menus also seem to be out of place since the most recent iOS update.

Great app. Been waiting 5 years for this one. But needs an update urgently

### 4/5 — Finally an easy way to log cases on the go

*2019-06-04, version 1.0*

Almost perfect
The screen is such that I cannot reach the green submit button after adding the case😭😭😭😭

### 3/5 — Convenient

*2025-10-17, version 3.2*

Has enough functionality to be a convenient way to log cases from your phone which is nice when you’re busy and just want to quickly log your cases for the day.

### 3/5 — Bug

*2019-10-28, version 2.0*

Potential for being very useful but I am Unable to submit cases as the submit button is below the screen and the app does not allow me to scroll down far enough to see it

### 3/5 — Cannot stay logged in

*2019-10-18, version 2.0*

Would be great if this app allowed for touch ID or allowed you to stay logged in. Tracking down my ACGME log in and password every time is a barrier.

### 3/5 — Good start. Needs more functions. Occasionally Buggy.

*2019-10-08, version 2.0*

It’s convenient to log cases on the go. It would be able to “Lock” codes like you can do on the website to avoid having to search for the same code when you are logging multiple instances of the same procedure. On occasion the screen will not let me scroll down to the green submit button, which requires me to restart the app and re-enter all of the case info.

### 3/5 — Good not great

*2019-06-24, version 1.0*

Appreciate the app. Agree with other reviewers- please fix scrolling issue: not always able to scroll down to hit submit. Adding saved login or Touch ID support would also be helpful.

### 3/5 — Simple

*2019-06-22, version 1.0*

The advantage of this app is to take out your phone and log the case right after you’re done. Functionality is otherwise limited (ie cannot search prior cases at least at this time) and would be best served still with the acgme website. A good, convenient start nevertheless and I suspect future versions will be more comprehensive

### 3/5 — HIPAA not HIPPA

*2019-06-05, version 1.0*

You misspelled HIPAA.
