Lifetime is reduced to 5 years. Each comic shows a price but when you click download it works! No need to pay extra. ### 3/5 — Very poor app support *2025-12-17* The images of the comics are just like physical and better, but the app is very glitchy and many bugs. We’re keen to fix this for you. ### 4/5 — Decent platform for nostalgic comics *2025-04-19* Works as advertised for the iPad. Digital comics purchased here are many a times cheaper than kindle. The only issue i have is that the app has not been verified on the mac. It clearly mentions that on the app store. I tried this on the mac and found the menu clicks do not work. Terrible in comparison. ### 1/5 — Where are my books? *2024-02-22* I bought a lifetime subscription (which is actually 10 years) along with the mythology book package on November 26th. App: The app is great, there were minor issues with getting it working. Books: The books are a completely different story. The order receipt says the books will be dispatched in 48 to 96 hours. I was hoping to get the books by Christmas. Emailed them on Dec 26th and was referred to Mr. Kevin Johnson with customer service department. I emailed again on Feb 4th as I got no reply. Mr. Johnson was kind enough to reply and apologized for the lack of inventory. I was and told the product will be on the way in 3-4 days. Emailed again on Feb 15th asking for an update and tracking number. Was referred to Ms. Manjare for updates. A week later, I still have no updates. I hate writing bad reviews. I can’t even complain to the better business bureau because the company operates out of India. It is a shame that it is such excellent content but horrible customer service and accountability. Still waiting for my books three months later and after multiple emails. ### 4/5 — Good content, nostalgic, wished could read in Hindi *2023-11-10* Request to app developers to provide a option to read content in Hindi. I read it to my kids and sometimes it’s tiresome to translate English to Hindi ### 4/5 — Please remove the silly parental gate *2023-11-05* The app has finally been fixed for the bug which didn’t keep in memory the last read page of a downloaded book but the silly parental gate is still there. Dear developers, this app doesn’t have any content that unsuitable for children. All ACK books are family friendly. I just purchased 6 months plan and I need to know where to stop auto renewal option as I have attached my card details . At least the user should know it right . Where to cancel it and all. And no one is responding for cancellation of the subscription either. Still no response after so many days.. And there is not even option of cancellation of renewal on the app. Pathetic.. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Lifetime Full access - SCAM - neither “lifetime” nor “full” *2026-06-21* It’s neither lifetime nor full access. The other reviews are true. They’re fighting chargebacks as well claiming they’ll pursue legal action for those filing them. Should have checked reviews before seeing this. Would do 0-stars if that was an option. ### 1/5 — SCAM ALERT !!! *2026-01-15* I signed up for the lifetime subscription for both the ACK and TINKLE COMICS but after a year, the subscription ended and nothing is working. It says I have to pay for each comic. I’ve emailed support and responded to the Welcome package email where it shows my purchase order but to no avail. No One has responded. ### 1/5 — LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION IS A SCAM *2025-11-08, version 5.6* Their lifetime subscription stops working and they stops responding. I tried to reach out to them in Facebook and email, they blocked me on Facebook ### 1/5 — Gone subscription *2025-11-02* I bought a subscription but it says that my account doesn’t even exist. ### 1/5 — Please Beware : SCAM ALERT *2025-09-23* I signed up for a lifetime subscription with them. They confirmed via email and several times during signup that they subscription is for lifetime even though it said 1 year access in the welcome email. I have proof from them that this was a lifetime subscription. After a year, they are not renewing the subscription and are forcing me to pay for comics. How is this legal? COMPLETE SCAM. Buyer Beware. Don’t let your childhood emotions cloud your judgment. I loved ACK comics as a kid. Not the same company that I loved. Total SCAM ### 1/5 — Scam Alert *2025-09-21* According to their terms and conditions, they say that you are purchasing a lifetime subscription ( their email stated this in clear terms). It’s been a year for me and now they’re not granting me access to the comics. I’m being asked to pay for any titles that are paid. I’ve emailed them twice now and no response from them. Really poor customer service. Please be aware. Registration, browsing and downloading was a very smooth process. The UI is very friendly and reading is easy. One potential improvement- detailed classification of library so that the user can filter and browse through the collection easily.
