It wants me to download the app mandated. It won’t give me the docs without the app being installed. It’s so frustrating. My experience with Acko Drive has been nothing short of a scam. If you are looking for a transparent car-buying process, look elsewhere. The Issues: • Financial Mismanagement: During the process, they claimed a "system glitch" and forced me to pay extra, promising a full refund within 10 days. It has now been over 40 days since I took delivery, and I have not seen a single rupee. • The "Ghost" Executive: I was explicitly promised that an Acko executive would be present during the car delivery to assist with the process. No one showed up. • Payment Failures: My car delivery was actually put on hold by the dealership because Acko failed to clear the dues on time. It was incredibly embarrassing and unprofessional. • Zero After-Sales Support: Before I paid the booking amount, I was getting 5+ calls a day. The moment the invoicing was done, they vanished. • Broken Customer Service: Their "support" is a joke. Whenever I call to track my refund, the call miraculously gets disconnected, and they never bother to call back. Emails and follow-ups go completely ignored. While purchasing the policy was easy and fast, their claim support is non-existent, agonizingly slow, and unprofessional. Key Issues Experienced: Extremely Slow and Time-Taking: I filed a claim expecting a "digital-first" experience. Instead, I spent weeks following up. The process was unorganized, and they took forever to process simple approvals, leaving me without my vehicle. Rude and Angry Staff: When I managed to get a customer support executive on the phone, they were not only unhelpful but also spoke in a very angry and unprofessional tone. It felt like they were doing me a favor by processing my claim, rather than providing the service I paid for. Constant Documentation Changes: They kept changing their document requirements, which caused unnecessary stress and delays. I felt harassed and ignored throughout this process. And the phone line was completely disturbed. Even they didn't even care for the call back. Seriously who read about these documents. At the time of purchasing the policy it is clearly mention that we will pay for your expenses in the cases of cancellation, delays & lost luggage but now they are saying the reason provided by the airline for flight cancellation is operations issue. This does not come under this policy. The experience was frustrating and far from what they advertise. After my car accident, I raised a claim through ACKO expecting a smooth and quick process. However, the claim processing took 9 days, which is extremely slow for a company that claims to provide fast digital insurance services. During this period, there was very poor communication and almost no proper updates from their support team. I had to follow up multiple times just to know the status of my claim. What made the situation worse is that ACKO approved only about 40% of the claimed repair amount, which was far below the actual repair cost. This was very disappointing because the purpose of having insurance is to get proper financial support during such situations. Overall, the claim handling process was slow, unclear, and unsatisfactory. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend ACKO Insurance to others. If you send your car here. I sent my Car for 24 hours. I had no information. I kept calling no one ever picked up. I was never given an estimate. this is a completely poor standard company with a very very poor service. They always keep saying someone will call you in one hour. No one calls up ever their service guys. Give me a random estimate of the car probably replacing the original parts with some duplicate parts or something like that. I’m not sure but completely waste of time. Don’t ever be fooled by low-cost go for the original car service.
