Doesn’t seem very stable. ### 2/5 — Sometimes it works *2021-08-08* I log in. I go to Digital Deals, and have to log in again. I go through two screens of coupons, and have to log in again. I close the app, and look at Giant Eagle instead. Great store. Lousy app. ### 1/5 — Search function is useless *2021-07-13* Almost never comes up with the right answer. Searched for Avacado and it offered baby food, nothing else. Narrowed the search to produce and same thing happened. At least on the website avacado turned up as the third result behind baby food and softlips balm…,,,, ### 2/5 — It’s a start *2021-07-13* I’m glad that Acme finally has an app but there are a lot of improvements that could help the user. If you were able to click an item from the weekly ad and select that would be helpful. If the app allowed for substitutions to be approved or rejected through the app, an out of stock notification when attempting to add to cart would help. Also text notifications of order ready for pickup and app check in would all be great added features for the user. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worthless *2025-12-16* Worst app ever, created account, followed all steps, can log on in browser, try in the app, invalid request or server not responding, try to set up an order, must be logged in. Infuriating!! At least there is giant eagle or walmart to go to! ### 1/5 — Not the official app *2025-11-06, version 1.19* This is not the official ACME app. Used it twice and had about a quarter of the order marked out of stock or just straight up missed. ### 1/5 — This may be the worst app I’ve ever used *2025-08-13* Good Lord! This is possibly the worst app I’ve ever used! The images are too small to See, when I try and filter, like say frozen meals, it gives me flour and dry Mac and cheese. Whoever made this app clearly has never used a grocery app before! After hitting “ Enter”, both elements are wiped and nothing happens, no indication of incorrect data, just nothing. That is indicative of poor IT. Sorry, this is just the truth. Acme better step up it’s game if it’s going to compete with Giant Eagle down the street. Online ordering was a lot easier when you’d just go on Acme’s website. Expected better Acme. Many features require you to sign in to your account; for whatever reason, it won’t recognize my login in the app. I’m able to log in on a web browser and use acme from there, but I just can’t sign in on the app, so the purpose is defeated for me. ### 3/5 — Where is the email to activate account? *2024-03-09* Setting up new account. Seems like a nice app. But I can’t complete the process because I need to click on the link in my email to activate the account. Except there is no email. It takes a very long time to set up an account. I’m waiting for the link. Hello!!??? ### 3/5 — Difficult & hard to navigate Digital Deaks *2023-01-08* Basic overall layout is ok. Finding weekly ad deals is fine. But the layout of the digital deals page is awful. Windows inside other windows makes scrolling difficult. Maybe it is done on purpose to make clipping coupons difficult? The amount of footer space taken up by the company info is excessive. Disappointed. Could be so much better. But the swiping to see the next product wastes time.
