### 5/5 — So helpful and easy!

*2018-11-15, version 11.0.003*

Easy to use, quick wait and the nurse practitioner was fabulous. I have asthma exacerbated by a cold and would have had to take my son to urgent care with me or wait days for an appointment with my regular practitioner. This way we stayed at home and I got advice and a prescription called in.

### 5/5 — Fast times and lovely NP

*2018-10-05, version 11.0.003*

I get UTI's pretty frequently and just needed to be prescribed antibiotics. I love the app and will only be using that from now on.

### 5/5 — This was kinda dope!!

*2018-10-02, version 11.0.003*

This was super neat and I really appreciated this service. I needed clearance for activity and knew I had plantar fasciitis but needed a doctor confirmation and a note for coaches and such that required me to go to urgent care. I didn’t have time or resources to go there, and I got the care I needed and the note as well. I saw Brianna and I really appreciated her personable appearance and her clear care for patients. She was quick and efficient. She provided me with her license so that I could confirm her identity and it was very professional. Run like a real urgent care but over the camera in my home. Much appreciated and highly recommend it.

### 5/5 — High quality

*2018-07-22, version 10.4.115*

Just what I needed. Sure beat driving twenty minutes to urgent care at 10:30 pm on a Saturday night.

### 5/5 — Convenience + & Fast, Friendly Care

*2018-06-17, version 10.4.107*

Easy to schedule an appt., the app is intuitive and user friendly, connection was good, and the provider was able to see me right on time.
She had access to my chart and utilized my past history in a very intelligent and thoughtful way.
Often in our Urgent care or walk in facilities rarely do the providers go over your history. They rx their way and scoot you out the door as fast as they can.
So I found this refreshing. Kudos to the team!!

### 5/5 — Incredible service good prices

*2018-03-20, version 10.3.300*

Subject and stars say it all :)

### 5/5 — Medical care has upped the ante

*2018-01-23, version 10.2.200*

After 5 days of feeling miserable with varying symptoms that are different for me I found and used this app. My vision has been blurry and husband out of town so options to seek health care are limited. Having a medical provider give me advice without having to ‘bum’ a ride is amazing. The provider was kind; thorough and efficient. I highly recommend this option instead of waiting a week or so to see your regular health provider when you are needing professional attention quickly. Amazing experience for me.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2017-11-23, version 10.0.103*

This was the best urgent care experience ever!

### 5/5 — Sooooo much better than urgent care!

*2017-10-11, version 10.0.103*

I had a horrible nagging cough and considered going to urgent care, but I always seem to catch something there...too many sick people in one place.

Then I remembered a sign at work saying Providence Express has an app! I had been to a kiosk location before, but this sounded easier. I downloaded it and registered easily. It asked me a few questions about my personal info and my insurance plan name/ID #. Much less work than filling out paperwork at a clinic.

The app showed me there was one NP online with two people ahead of me and the app said it usually takes about 10 minutes per person. While I was waiting for her, someone confirmed some information with over a text message-style chat. When we were done, I was told it would be another 10-12 minutes but it was much less. The NP Katharine apologized for my waiting 20 minutes, but it seemed like less and the app prepared me for that wait.

She was very nice, personable, informative and thoughtful. The app was very easy to use...I just sat in a comfy chair and talked to her FaceTime-style. I will DEFINITELY be using this in the future and recommending it to others!

### 5/5 — 11pm care without an ER visit

*2017-09-16, version 9.5.018*

I developed an earache with symptoms coming on right at bedtime. I thought I would be able to go to sleep and go to an express care clinic in the morning. Rest was short lived with that awful ear pain. Access to a virtual visit meant I didn't have to go to an ER at 11pm just for an ear infection and wait time was way shorter!

### 5/5 — Used first time today

*2017-09-12, version 9.5.018*

I'm a frequenter of Urgent Care and Emergency room due to anxiety/PTSD and lack of consistent access to care. I found out about this app through HealthShare when I was enrolled and was like *this is too good to be true* surprised. I have been having respiratory issues today and would have gone to ER to figure that out but was able to have "a nurse in my home" so to speak, thanks to technology! She diagnosed reactive respiratory and sent in order for inhaler, and counseled me through my anxiety about taking new meds. It was so great not to waste the time and resources of the ER, and to get such quick treatment. It took about 15 min wait time, wayyy faster than dropping into a clinic, and face to face via my iPad was a lot better than speaking to an advice nurse on the phone. I wish everyone had this kind of care and access.

### 5/5 — This is great!

*2017-09-12, version 9.5.018*

It's such an easy to use app and helped me get the help I needed without going to a dr! Awesome!

### 5/5 — Technology at its best

*2017-07-22, version 9.4.112*

On vacation and forgot a routine prescription. It's a Saturday and no nearby doctors or walk-in clinics open. This came to my rescue. I did have to wait in line about 40 mins but honestly NO BIG DEAL. I have my prescription waiting at the nearby town!!!! Will use this again for other non emergencies I'm sure. . App worked perfect!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Patient

*2023-08-23, version 12.10.003*

2 hour wait, when I was supposed to be next patient. Very frustrating.

### 1/5 — Not available.

*2022-06-04, version 12.10.003*

This has become the only virtual visit option allowed for Providence Health in Oregon, but there are no providers in Oregon. Make it make sense.

### 1/5 — Service not available

*2022-05-29, version 12.10.003*

We live rurally in Oregon and wanted to use a virtual visit to avoid the long drive to an urgent care clinic. It’s Sunday so maybe that has an affect on it? The Providence app for virtual appointments said that we needed to download another app, directed us to a national providence virtual app which told us that there was no service in our state yet, but check back because there ever expanding 🙄. When you finally find a virtual appointment phone number, it says that they are too busy to answer the phone and hangs up….what service?

### 1/5 — Avoid this quagmire of a medical nightmare if at all possible

*2021-08-05, version 12.10.003*

I threw my back out while on vacation. Thought downloading the Providence app (which then had me download the ACN Virtual Care app since I was in HI) would be faster and more convenient than going in person to an urgent care, since all i wanted was a muscle relaxant. I was wrong. I spent more than 8 hours in total trying to see a doc and get the prescription filled. Was ultimately not successful, despite hours on the phone and exchanging e-mails with more people than I can remember…. Simply the most frustrating medical experience of my life, which is saying something. If you’re reading this…please do yourself a favor and avoid using this app and it’s services if at all possible. I wish I could leave a negative star review. -99 stars. Would not recommend.

### 1/5 — Waste of Time

*2019-01-29, version 11.1.318*

This was ridiculous. The NP I was connected to told me straight away she couldn’t do anything and to go to urgent care. If I was well enough to leave the house I would have done that in the first place! 🙄 She was curt and cold and seemed irritated by my symptoms. Besides going to urgent care she suggested a warm bath. Thanks lady, that never crossed my mind. AND drink plenty of water? You don’t say! Worst $49 I ever spent. This is just a glorified nurse hotline and you can call those for free. That is my recommendation.

### 1/5 — Don't waste your time, and money!

*2015-05-06, version 7.4.101*

I got a sinus infection, and on the same day a postcard about this app came in the mail. I thought why not give it a try, because I live 40 minutes away (one way) from my primary care doctors office. Well it was a big waste of time, and money! The app wouldn't connect to the Nurse, and she ended up calling me on the phone to inform me that she couldn't help. She was supposed to cancel the charge, but didn't. I then had to track down the nurse, because on the app there is no contact information. It's day two of trying to get my money back, and all I'm getting is the run around...Save yourself the time, and stress, and skip this app! Just do what I ended up having to do, and go to your regular doctor.

### 1/5 — Providence Health Express

*2014-08-24, version 7.3.010*

Installed the app. Was shown a video on how it all works by one of your Reps
at our in-service meeting for Evergreen School District. I have Providence ins. and an account on line on the website for Providence. I cannot get any further that the name, e-mail, DOB page. The next page says they have a record of my account with partial info. and to call the support phone number. I contacted them and at this point they were going to put a team on it and return my call. Still waiting.

### 2/5 — Open?

*2018-02-16, version 10.2.400*

So your claim is that you can just get on and sees provider or make a appointment. Humm it’s a little hard to do that when NO PROVIDERS ARE ONLINE!! You have to then make a appointment for almost midnight. Yeah this is stupid, used to be a great idea now nope

### 2/5 — LONG WAIT TIMES

*2017-10-28, version 10.0.103*

Just trying this app. So far we've been on hold for over an hour, switched from one provider to another, bumped DOWN the line. Seems to me it would be easier to leave a phone number and have them return the call when it's your turn rather than sitting online using up internet...waiting, waiting, waiting.

### 2/5 — After waiting for almost half an hour

*2017-05-26, version 9.4.112*

After waiting for almost half an hour, my app showed message that Swedish is updating the site and when I tried to get back to my forever waiting session, I could not get back in.

App says Washington but works in Oregon too.

### 5/5 — Success

*2019-03-01, version 11.2.017*

My goal was met,I was really in a pickle not being able to get to a clinic till Monday,The NP met my needs and showed concern.I will use this site again if I need to.

### 5/5 — Snowed in

*2019-02-25, version 11.1.318*

I slipped on a patch of ice going down a curb going to my carpool this morning and hurt my butt, tailbone, and back. I called out of work because I am in a lot of pain (I have scoliosis and previous back injuries). My work requires a doctor's not to take time off for injuries. I couldnt get a ride to a local clinic so I don't know what to do. I have never used a virtual doctor before, but this was so fast and easy! I'm going to be using it a lot more now.

### 5/5 — This was Super!

*2019-01-17, version 11.1.318*

I was able talk to the doctor, she asked me all the pertinent questions, she had access to my account; it was just like going in but in the comfort of my own home!

### 5/5 — Great first use

*2019-01-06, version 11.1.318*

An excellent option to see if my teenage son’s conditions were a bad cold or flu. Nurse was kind, helpful and engaging.
