How do I pay to get rid of them? ### 3/5 — Critter Catalogue in the Wrong Order? *2026-08-12, version 2.3.3* I'm not sure what happened in the latest version, but there's a sorting issue with the "Critters" menu. The option to sort the catalogue of bugs, fish, or sea creatures on this app by name, value, or in-game order has always been a nice feature on this app. However! When I sort the bugs by "#," which I take to mean by "in-game Critterpedia order," the list order in this app does NOT match the order in the game. For example, the Giant Cicada in the game is listed with the other cicadas, between the Robust and Walker. But in this app, it's listed separately toward the end after Tarantula, Scorpion, and Stinkbug. I’ve had this app for many months and I find myself having to tap multiple times (more than 10x) to mark an item in my inventory and donated and about 95% of the time it does not work; even if I close the app/restart it/uninstall then reinstall. It happens on many things. I just tried to update a painting I was looking at and the buttons basically don’t work! It’s like the buttons are pointless because majority of the time they don’t do what they’re supposed to. Obviously not a huge deal for those who don’t care to mark an item as caught/donated, but I find it frustrating when I’ve done it many times in the past and it is now suddenly glitching and freezing up on me. Please fix!! I love the resource and it’s sad that I can’t catalog anything!! ### 4/5 — Love this app! 🫶 *2026-07-21, version 2.3.3* I love this app so much, it’s very organized and it’s been one of my favorite things for ACNH. However, my own issue is that the wishlist never pops up when I open up the list tab. I’m not sure if this is a bug or not, but even when I have incredible service and/or WiFi the wishlist never loads properly or gets updated when I add items. It’s super helpful for the game and is really well thought out. Unfortunately, it also crashes a lot. When I’m going through items or creatures and ticking off what I have, it will just randomly stop responding. If you want to look for multiple items in the search bar, after a few searches it refuses to respond to any presses of the screen. Closing the app and reopening it works, but is annoying. 2. There is an option to fix data if say some items are ticked but you didn’t actually tick them. Unfortunately, my art tab is glitched where it says I have 60/43 pieces or art or however many there are. Even unchecking all of then and attempting to fix data does no resolve the issue All in all, it’s decent. Now they just updated it to be littered with ads. I understand they must make money somehow but it’s not only banner ads. They added ads in the grid between critters, paintings, and items. Now instead of seeing all the fish to catch, you can see the fish plus an ad for Reddit, Temu, and Progressive! I had almost all itms catalogued and when I went to use the app today I was prompted to start a new island! All of my work for the last few years is gone! I deleted the app and reinstalled hoping for my island to return. Sadly it didn’t. I won’t be using this app anymore. Now everything’s changed and is very confusing. Sometimes if you click “caught” and “donated” it’ll show up as two out of how ever many total critters caught even though it’s only one thing. Same thing with art if you have a fake artwork listed as owned it’ll count it towards total art donated to the museum. It took me way too long to figure that out and kept wondering why my numbers were off. Some things are in more than one place, other things are almost impossible to get to at all. Navigating the villager menu is almost impossible because there are so many different options to scroll through, but there's no longer a section just for the villagers in your town. Half of the filters don't stay set. I miss the old version of this app. It worked so much better. It has an easy interface and very helpful to track down critters when completing the museum and your own critterpedia. I always use it even now to keep track of items and villagers. Since the 3.0 update, my only issue is I wish they added resetti as a visitor option as well. But it’s a minor item. This app has really helped me. Keep track of who I’ve talked to, what I’ve donated to the museum, and has even helped me complete parts of my critterpedia by letting me know when the bugs come and what times! ### 5/5 — Extremely Useful, But Has Bugs *2026-07-05, version 2.3.3* I’m giving 5 stars because I’m hoping the developers will read this and fix. This app is extremely useful. Especially the “critters” section. My suggestion is to check off all the critters you have in the museum and use the critters section to help you easily sort which ones are currently available. Perhaps they could add the useful critter details and sorting to the museum section so I don’t have to check off both sections. Anyways, the glitches. Occasionally I can’t check off a critter and have to click into it in order to check it off. Also, when in a critter, I can’t go back sometimes and have to close the app and reopen. The actual meat of the app is phenomenal - never change.
