Very disappointing. ### 2/5 — Phone to web site integration *2021-10-13, version 3.8.1.0* Poor integration with web site. Does not list modules completed on the phone app when going back to the web site ### 2/5 — Crappy app, but great content *2021-07-01, version 3.7.1.0* Great content, but the app is very touchy. Expanding to full screen frequently causes it to stop working correctly or it pulls up duplicates and plays the same thing at the same time. As such, you have to keep it the size it starts at, but if you touch outside of the screen it will close the video but continue the audio so you have to close it all and start over. It’s strange that you can’t simply choose the topic you want to review, but you instead have to set up an order of topics on another screen and then go in the order you set. Sometimes it pulls up the incorrect answer set for the question requiring you to close the app and start over. ### 2/5 — Good premise but glitchy *2021-05-05, version 3.7.1.0* It’s frustrating that you can’t go out of order and that at the end of each section I have to closeDown the whole app to get to the next video. ### 2/5 — Antiquated and oversold in terms of what it adds to the course *2021-01-06, version 3.7.1.0* Bite-sized content format important, although just a duplicate of the overall video course. Screen is locked in the horizontal position. Very clunky overall. ### 2/5 — Great content, terrible app *2020-11-02, version 3.7.1.0* The content is great, wonderful review lectures, but the app has serious glitches. In the one week I have been using it, my list of topics has disappeared three times (on iPhone and both iPads) forcing me to re-download it. In addition, 3 of the first 10 topics I watched got stuck in a loop and played the same case over and over so that I could not complete the topic. I was forced to move that topic to the bottom of the list so that I could move on. It is poor programming that you cannot skip anything, it must go in order, so I could not manually move it to another case. Be forewarned this also means you cannot rewatch any video so be sure you take notes or a photo of anything you'd like to review. Perhaps it will let you rewatch after you finish the entire series, but since I have several topics already that will not complete, I will never know.... update 2 years later and same problems ### 3/5 — Good with a couple of glitches *2020-10-27, version 3.7.1.0* Convenience of the app is extremely helpful. The problems encountered are transitioning from one topic to the next. The Close and Start icons would not consistently work, requiring me to turn off the phone completely and restart between topics. Also frequently at the questions, on restart there would be two versions starting almost at the same time (with echo) requiring me to hit the close button to turn one version of the speaker off. ### 2/5 — Bugs *2020-08-07, version 3.7.1.0* While it’s nice to have the ability to answer questions, this app will freeze. Other times it opens two windows simultaneously, leading to reverberated audio. It requires closing down the app between sections, which ends up occurring at minimum 5 times per lecture. It’s barely tolerable. Lectures are great, though. ### 2/5 — Underwhelming *2020-05-24, version 3.7.1.0* Good concept and I like the approach but the execution of the app could be better. Needs more attention to details. My videos in short segments are nice but I can't minimize the question after it pops up and answer. I can't select which video I want. It only shows the next group of videos and within the group plays the next one up. No rewatching ### 2/5 — Barely functional garbage *2020-05-23, version 3.7.1.0* Functional, but terrible quality, constantly have to close and restart. Absolute garbage. Thankfully still able to actually watch lectures and answer questions with it. ### 1/5 — VERY POORLY DESIGNED APP *2020-03-14, version 3.7.1.0* I have tried to set up this app multiple times. It does not display the date to set your schedule, I had to swipe blindly until the settings showed a date that was somewhat close to what I was looking for. Then the courses will download and then disappear and then download again...I have not been able to view any of the subjects just yet. Someone needs to sit down and fix this app top to bottom. Very disappointed since this was one of the reasons I decided to purchase ACP over Medstudy. ...additional: the rearrange setting does not work. I should be able to pick which ever topic I want to see and not even have to worry about arranging or rearranging. ### 2/5 — Not great. Wastes a lot of time. *2020-02-25, version 3.7.1.0* Unable to finish a section and select another. It freezes any time I don’t click to co tiniest to the next video. I have to leave an come back hours later after it reloads or something. It’s really annoying. ### 2/5 — Needs a lot of work! *2020-02-15, version 3.7.1.0* You can repeat the video you watched. When you want to watch another video, you have to go back home and then slide down to close the window. Otherwise, 2 videos will play at once. There should be a setting where you can rewind or fast forward by 10 seconds. Sometimes you want repeat what they were saying and the timing bar at the bottom of the screen is too sensitive. Also, I wish the video would not close at the end. Sometimes you miss what they are saying in the last 5 seconds, but you cannot go back and hear it! ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2019-12-07, version 3.7.1.0* Doesn’t flow correctly. You have to exit the app to move to the next question. Can’t set a course completion date either. The issue is that even on a strong Wi-Fi connection most of the videos lag repeatedly sometimes as much as every few seconds. This makes the app almost useless for studying as you constantly have to pause and resume each video. ### 1/5 — Terrible app. *2021-03-04, version 3.7.1.0* Please we can do better. Most of the time it doesn’t work. It constantly stalls and I have to close the app and restart it. The sound only works with my headphones. There are extremely limited choices in terms of rewatching content, looking at missed questions or rearranging content. It says it’s supposed to keep me on track to get through material before my boards but it essentially just tracked if I did the minimum questions and did not adjust if I need many more questions. I couldn’t really track my progress etc. the only benefit of the app was actually being able to watch the videos and answer the questions on my phone and the actual course was excellent but this made it very clunky and difficult to use. ### 1/5 — Bad *2020-08-22, version 3.7.1.0* Horrible hard to reverse if you do it often starts playing a second ime and both are playing truly bad can’t do whatever lecture you want have to reorder from beginning truly a horrible app Good content Arranged terribly in this ridiculous app For the cost invest in a better platform ### 1/5 — This app is terrible *2020-08-19, version 3.7.1.0* This app is very bad period. Plus I keep saying never to rate this app, then they ask me the next time I start the app, every time. The app won’t play sound unless have headphones in. There is no rewind or ff a short bit button. It constantly freezes when hit back to home buttons. App is worst part of program for sure...oh wait the website itself is also terrible. But the program is good haha ### 1/5 — Horrible App, good content *2020-08-02, version 3.7.1.0* The app is a dinosaur that is clunky, inefficient and has poor functionality. Once you start a topic, you can not rewind to its previous subsection. You have to click next after each question vignette, forcing you to keep holding your phone in hand for the duration of the section. It freezes over and has to be restarted. I reported it to the Playback Now and got no resolution other than a comment that they’d let their developers know. I emailed support and within 24 hours they fixed the problem. Now, it is working great. Will be a fantastic way to prepare for the boards.
