Measure any piece of land from your phone. Drop corners on satellite imagery and the acreage appears while you work, corner by corner. No account, no sign-up, and the measuring itself is free. FOUR WAYS TO MEASURE • Field: move the map under the crosshair and drop one corner at a time. Far more precise than tapping with a thumb. • Distance: fence runs, driveways, irrigation line, road frontage. • Circle: centre and radius, for pivots, sprinkler throw and spray buffers. • Marker: pin a gate, a well, a washout, a soil sample. MEASURE GROUND YOU ARE NOT STANDING ON Search an address, a town or raw coordinates and the map goes there. HONEST ABOUT ACCURACY Area is computed on the globe, not on the flat map, so it stays correct at any latitude. Corners you place on satellite imagery are as sharp as the imagery itself, which beats a GPS fix taken under trees or beside a building. It is a working tool, not a legal survey. It no longer does. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-01 Search an address and the map goes straight to it, so you can measure a parcel or check the acreage of a listing two counties away without leaving the yard. NEW Find a place by street, town or raw coordinates. Results are ordered by how close they are to the part of the map you are looking at, so the right one is at the top instead of four states away. IMPROVED The materials calculator now covers concrete, sand, woodchips and sealer, takes a waste allowance before you order, and remembers the rates and prices you actually use. The opening screen now shows Acrely measuring two parcels corner by corner, instead of describing it. CHANGED Walk mode has been retired. Measuring is now done by placing corners on satellite imagery, which holds up better than a phone's GPS under trees or beside buildings. Boundaries you already recorded by walking are untouched and open exactly as before.
