Soon realised that to get a full picture we needed google for maps and general descriptions of places to stay and the roads that lead to them. Notable downside lacking in reviews for aires and couldn’t figure out how to add one. ### 2/5 — Google Maps is just better *2026-06-26, version 2026.06.16* Tried to use this but always end up on google maps. The reviews are equally spurious but the data on maps is more complete… the UX / UI here is very dated ### 2/5 — Should be much better than it is! *2026-06-14, version 2026.05.29* This app and the ACSI Camping Card app both have the same issues. The main one being if you navigate by using the map, find a site and click on it the info is there, but if you try to search it’ll tell you that there is nothing available. It says there are updates to the country package, despite the required ones already being downloaded. Paying extra for this app for the 3 months we’re travelling in Spain and Portugal seemed like a good idea on top of the CC subscription, but Search for Sites works better. Come on ACSI please get this sorted. Maybe get some users to do real time user testing and make these apps work as they should. ### 2/5 — Carte ACSI *2026-05-21* Pas de réponse et malgré le paiement carte ACSI digitale jamais reçu.,on paye mais on ne reçois jamais la carte et je vois que nous ne sommes pas les seuls!! Activez ensuite la carte en complétant les informations. Votre immatriculation doit être saisie sans les tirets. Can’t even see how to change language. Wishing I hadn’t paid to join for a year! ### 1/5 — Not working, developer not able to help *2025-11-24, version 2025.09.11* I was using this app in past on several trips, without issues. This year, I opted for 3 months subscription, I paid, I got receipt from the app store, however I haven't got access to list of campsites. Something did not work as it should. I contacted the developer and they were not able to help. I repeated contact and they told me to contact the app store. Of course app store did not reply (it was 2 months ago). And I never received back my money. Today I got notification that my subscription ends in December. Of course I will not pay for this again. Also, maybe a reminder for users to leave reviews as lots of the most recent reviews are a year or more old Also, a what3words reference for each site would be helpful for pinpointing locations. ### 1/5 — Subskrypcja nie działa *2025-09-22, version 2025.09.11* Kupiłem subskrypcję, zapłaciłem za nią a program nie działa. 3 tygodnie wymiany maili z supportem ACSI i bez żadnego skutku - jak nie działało tak nie działa. Support ACSI nie jest w stanie pomóc, ale pieniądze za subskrybcję wzięli. Nie polecam - oszuści i naciągacze. ### 2/5 — Optimierung erforderlich *2025-08-23, version 2025.07.23* Ich nutze seit Jahren nun die ACSI Apps und hoffte jedes Jahr dass sie endlich mal richtig optimiert/erneuert wird, entsprechende Vorschläge hatte ich auch schon gemacht. Mittlerweile gibt es zumindest für die ACSI App gute Alternativen und ich werde voraussichtlich diese App nicht mehr nutzen/bezahlen. Mit der ACSI CC App muss ich mich halt weiterhin abfinden, obwohl dort die gleichen Probleme existieren. Eigentlich schade, dass trotz der tausenden von zahlenden Benutzern keine moderne und richtig funktionierende App zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Freiwillige Beta Tester mit direktem Feedback an die Entwickler wäre hier sicherlich ein Weg das zu optimieren. Hier ein paar negative Beispiele: Wieso müssen Updates einzeln geladen werden ? Eine Funktion/Auswahl alle Updates laden würde hier helfen, dann könnte man das zB. wegen der langen Download Zeiten das auch mal Nachts starten. Auf iPhone und iPad trotz neuester Generation immer noch extrem lange Startzeit und wenn man auf eine andere App wechselt, wieder das ganze von vorne. Wenn man ganz Europa hat, wäre vielleicht eine Einstellung sinnvoll, welches Land man beim starten laden will, würde wahrscheinlich die Startzeit extrem verkürzen. Primär im Offline Mode immer wieder mal ein Abbruch und die App startet neu. Lästig und unterwegs einfach nicht zu brauchen. Und es gibt noch weiteres sinnvolles Optimierungspotential. ### 1/5 — Useless waste of money *2025-07-28, version 2025.07.23* I signed up to this because I thought it would give me some discounted campsite options during European winters. Turns out the vast majority of campsites offer the discount without the card anyway. The subscription options were complicated (ended up needed a refund because I needed the card option or something) plus there was very little review or feedback for places, which meant an alternative app (Park4Night) showed one of the ACSI places as a hotspot for theft, but ‘safe’ on ACSI. The app is also not at all user friendly. Not worth your money. ### 4/5 — Übersichtliche App *2025-07-13* …die App ist eigentlich sehr übersichtlich aber bei vielen Campingplätzen fehlen wichtige Fotos (manchmal nur eins hinterlegt) und der Text dazu ist auch fast immer gleich. Auch viel Email Adressen sind nicht hinterlegt. Natürlich wäre es genial- besser buchen zu können. Oft ist kein Buchungslink aktiviert und man sieht nicht - welche CP wie belegt sind, was aber sicherlich an den Betreibern der Plätze liegt. Dieses Jahr ist die App für mich unbrauchbar. Wenn ich z.B. einen Ort suche bekomme ich die Meldung,dass die Suche kein Ergebnis erbracht hat und ich erst ein Abonnement abzuschließen muss. Nur ich habe ein Abonnement! Und so reiht sich ein Fehler an den anderen, sodass ich mittlerweile auf andere Apps ausgewichen bin. Wirklich sehr schade. To top it off after cancelling, they still try and take money. Campsites no longer had photographs and very limited details - meaning I have to spend ages googling sites alongside the app. It also doesn’t pinpoint searched locations very well. I will not be renewing next year unless it is fixed and will use Pitchup (or similar) instead. Update: logged out and back in - photos still aren’t working. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — FREE motorhome tours *2026-07-27, version 2026.06.16* For years now, We have toured for weeks at a time in the motorhome using the ACSI app about lunch time to search out up to three aires to stay the night. Away from the coast one can find free Aires including free water/ service point if you look closely. From South West UK to Portugal and back, some four thousand miles over five weeks and nothing paid for stopovers or service points. The App gives you all the information you need. Hier aber noch ein Vorschlag von mir: Ich fände es gut, wenn es nur eine ACSI App geben würde und jeder durch Zukauf seine benötigten Funktionen CC oder Camping- bzw. Stellplatzinfos dazu buchen kann. Eine andere Möglichkeit könnte sein, die Campinginfos auch in der CC-App zu laden.
