You used to get strikes by throwing the ball in the pocket. Now you hardly get any strikes unless the ball is on the 1 pin. Something changed 6 months ago. Game is not practical now. As long as you move the pin off its starting spot it counted as being knocked over. I get strikes when there are still pin standings on the lane just because they moved a bit. A few strikes (X) do not get the next 2 balls added to the strike. Most of the time the scoring is correct, but if scoring mistakes are automatically made, whats the point in scoring?? Granted I’m not an avid bowler but don’t remember ever seeing pins slide all the way across the lane while upright. ### 2/5 — Glitchy and Inaccurate *2018-01-15, version 1.11.4* The ball doesn’t always go where you swipe it and sometimes when you swipe it diagonally it goes in a straight line instead of a curve. And the pins don’t fall as they should. Some pins when hit slide on the alley but are still standing when in reality those never would have still been standing. Then some pins are still standing after a bowl but when the ball comes back to bowl the second time the pins are gone. Up until now I have been able to maintain an average of 220+. I even had a couple of 300 games. However after the most recent update, I’m barely able to break 150. What has worked in in the past (angle, spin on the ball etc) does not produce the same results as before. Also, previously when a pin was barely moved after the first ball, it would remain standing but now, if it’s moved a little it’s counted as a downed pin. That seemed to follow a sudden increase in potentially-annoying full screen ads and animated commercials. I had been enjoying Action Bowl 2 as a relaxing end-of-day kind of Zen experience. Now I find it an annoying fight to roll a strike. There are no settings for difficulty level. The pin animation is great on this game. The sounds can be intrusive; I turn them down.
