## What is Action Button Pro?

Action Button Pro lets you supercharge the Action Button on your iPhone.

Create conditions and assign actions to them. Some examples:

- If I'm playing music, open Spotify
- If I'm on the train, open the Podcasts app
- If I'm at work, open Slack
- If a meeting just started, start a new note
- If it's after 10pm, turn on the flashlight
- If the Warriors or the Bulls are playing, open ESPN

Sequences. Group your triggers into sets like Work, Travel, or Gym and switch between them from the top of the screen. Give a sequence its own condition and it switches itself when you get there.

Not sure where to start? Six templates get you running in a tap.

And when you press the button, you can see exactly which conditions passed, which didn't, and why — plus a history of everything your button has done.

I expected to be able to change the action button to use hold for silent and then double tap for a shortcuts and then a triple tap for flashlight. Rules really don’t help for this. Even if it allowed the hold to activate and let me set shortcuts to different tap numbers be better for my use. Not gonna purchase this odd if/elseif junk.

I compiled a simple if this then open that. If orientation left then open YouTube. Simple. All that happens is it opens the app and shows a summary.

Edit: the left and right orientations seem flipped. Orientation landscape right should put the action button on the top right.

Device face up and down don't seem to work.
Also, Portrait is also too vertical. A normal 40°- 65° incline is a normal phone position.

I love the unique conditions I can use the app. When the warriors are playing I just tap the action button to see the score. When I’m at my work it automatically switches to opening slack.

This app, in theory is a great idea. The execution in this case is not so good.

There is no way to exit the tutorial other than going through the whole thing. A close icon, would be nice. 

You can’t edit conditions without deleting the whole condition. I want to make a quick time change, why can’t I just tap the time and scroll the new time in. Also, 5mins increments instead of 15mins would be nice. Having all the minutes available for the hour though would be best. 

Randomly the Action Pro shortcut will not actually run the shortcut I have listed, but rather open the Action Pro app, and just show the summary. 

It makes some shortcuts when ran, loop repeatedly until you force quit the “Action Pro App”.

Really don’t think you should be charging for this apps “pro features” when they are not ready.

Overall, super frustrating experience. Hopefully you can work out the bugs/issues, but for right now it is staying a 1 star app because it is simply not ready for deployment.

Sequences
Group your triggers into named sets — Work, Travel, Gym — and switch between them from the title at the top. Give a sequence its own condition and it activates itself: land somewhere new and the right set takes over automatically. Pick one manually and your choice sticks until something actually changes.

Templates
Start from a ready-made trigger instead of a blank screen. Six presets covering work hours, meetings, driving, late nights, weekends, and winding down.

New ways to trigger
• Calendar — fire when an event is happening or about to start
• Day of week — pick exactly which days a trigger runs

• Toggle the flashlight
• Start a voice memo
• Open a new note

Know why it did that
Every condition now shows a green check or red cross when your button runs, with the reason it failed — "it's 1:18 PM right now", "you're 1.2 mi away". Settings → History keeps a running log of what your button did and when. If nothing matched, you'll feel a short buzz instead of wondering whether the press registered.

Invert any condition
Tap Invert to flip a condition — "when I'm not at home", "when nothing's on my calendar."

Easier editing
Tap a condition to jump straight into it, already filled in. Location triggers now let you set the radius on a map instead of a fixed distance.

Fixes and polish
• Fixed time ranges firing outside their window, including overnight ranges like 10pm–6am
• Fixed the day picker being unreadable in light and dark mode
• Live Activities now say which trigger ran and why, and show up properly on the Lock Screen
• Redesigned Settings
