## Newest reviews (10 of 95)

### 3/5 — Needs single photo option.

*2018-04-20, version 2.1*

A similar app by the same company permitted you to choose to use as “Flashcards”, in other words show just one at a time instead of having to choose one of 4. I would use this app much more if that option were available. —Speech language therapist.

### 5/5 — Great as all Alligator Apps

*2013-08-05, version 1.0*

Great photos, kids love them and great for adults with acquired issues

### 5/5 — Speech Pathologist

*2013-08-04, version 1.0*

A very useful receptive language app! From four year olds to elderly stroke patients all enjoy the variety of actions offered? Worth the very reasonable price and the program can be individualized!

### 5/5 — Excellent app for kids

*2013-06-22, version 1.0*

Nice customization of voice ,picture

### 5/5 — Oh... my... god.

*2013-06-06*

This is just the best app out there bar none, the kids in my class love it so much they jump up and down and scratch my face if we don`t play it. They love smacking the screen when they know a word, and scream when the green tick icon comes on without any sound when they`re correct. They say that the second coming is late, well I think it`s here, in this app. GET IT NOW.

### 5/5 — Bonne application

*2013-05-28, version 1.0*

J aime beaucoup cette application , les images sont belles et réelles , aide a enrichir le vocabulaire.

### 4/5 — Nice photos

*2013-05-08, version 1.0*

This app has nice photographs, which I like rather than it using animated pictures. Some of the pictures can be confusing, for example it may show pictures of someone riding a horse, rowing a boat, and someone sitting in the grass. It will ask "who is sitting?" Well, to a 2 year old all 3 of those pictures have someone sitting. I often reword it, or add my own question to clarify. I haven't deleted it and it is a good way to help expose my little ones to a variety of activities and vocabulary words. It's worth downloading to work with your child.

### 5/5 — Excellent app!

*2013-03-23, version 1.0*

I love it because it's customizable!! As a SLT I can change it in my native language. 👍

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-03-10, version 1.0*

This app is very easy to use. My three year old daughter uses it on her own and we have only been using the iPad a few weeks.

### 4/5 — Lovely

*2013-03-09, version 1.0*

Great pictures. However, some are a little vague, for example, for "cuddling" there is a mother kissing a child and also two people hugging. Not precise in terms of one picture showing the action of the verb.

Sound doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Don’t download

*2019-07-01, version 2.1*

Worst kids app. Complicated to use. Says you can customize your own game play but when you click to record it closes the app out completely.

### 1/5 — BUG?

*2016-02-09, version 1.0*

Maybe this App didn't load appropriately, but I have zero sound for the prompt. Not good.

### 1/5 — Sound doesn't work!

*2015-03-18, version 1.0*

### 1/5 — No sound

*2013-07-29, version 1.0*

The app worked and then it didn't with the sound. So its a glitch and needs to be fixed.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2018-10-05, version 2.1*

Unable to change the number of pictures presented at a time as the app says is possible and got no response from support when questioned about how to change in case I was missing something

### 2/5 — Good concept but needs better execution

*2017-09-13, version 2.1*

This could be a great tool for teaching my autistic son some verbs. The photos are fantastic and well chosen. However compared to other apps he can use it isn't stimulating enough. Customising the sounds is a great idea, but a comprehensive sound set needs to come with the package. It is silent at the moment. Fun Background music would help, as would some sonic and visual feedback when you choose the wrong picture. I don't know how much work would be involved but it would really help and would be worth paying more for.

### 2/5 — Not a good app for esol students

*2014-02-10, version 1.0*

I used the labels and found that the word tickling is spelled incorrectly. There are no hints given like reducing the choices so the kids just keep clicking until the right one is checked. They were also confused when 2 pictures could be right like having 2 pictures with people yawning for the word yawning. Also, a baby sucking on a bottle was not a correct answer for sucking which they found confusing. I may have missed it but I couldn't find a way for the words to be repeated when the student needed to hear it again. This is something brand new ELLs could really benefit from having.

### 2/5 — Speech in school

*2013-02-05, version 1.0*

Nice pictures
Would like to see players added in order to customize pictures without fully deleting concepts based on my student users.
Would rather the ability to "hide" a concept rather than delete in settings. Thank you!
